Been to this place about five times until I realized it not worth my money anymore. I’ve had four things from here: Pork sandwich– the meat was dry and it felt pre cooked, as if they threw it in the microwave(I’m used to the meat being cooked in spot and char grilled). That alone made the sandwich horrible and a waste of money. Spring rolls– it was hot whenever I got it? When I usually get them they are nice and cold. The lettuce was weird and the shrimp were hard and tasted fishy! And the peanut butter sauce wasn’t any better Coconut smoothie w/boba and Mango smoothie w/boba– Okay I guess. I’ve had better.

Since we moved close to this area, I thought I’ve give this place a try. Coconut milk tea with tapioca is my favorite over here! I have been addicted to their tapioca drinks for 2 years now. Very friendly and delicious drinks!

Let me just start off by saying that if I could give this place a –5 start rating I would! I had the WORST experience at this place that I’ve had in my entire life! It is such a LONG story but basically they made my drink wrong and they refused to make a new one. The owner treated me like shit! And yelled at me for no reason! This was yesterday night around 8:30 pm, there was no other costumers in the shop but just me. I had to ask him 3 times to stop yelling at me and he was just furious, very aggressive all he could tell me «it’s your fault you made me get this way!» And it was just a HORRIBLE experience guys! Not only did he yell at me from the top of his lungs but he also called me disrespected me by calling me stupid and that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me, as well as the lady that rang my order up. I’m a regular costumer at that place so I am really upset and really surprised that I was treat the was I was. It was so uncalled for. So many things happened, that it will take so long for me to type, but you just really have to take my word and don’t come to this place! I DONOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACEATALL! HORRRIBLEEESERVICE! THEWORST! I HATETHISPLACESOMUCH! The only reason why I created a Unilocal account this morning was to share my experience with you! Trust me I wouldn’t have taken the time if I wasn’t really upset!

I think it’s a pretty nice little place. They have wi fi and great sandwiches. I have gone about two times and both visits have been with no complaints!

I ordered: ¾ sweetened iced black tea with rainbow jellies. My friend ordered iced green tea with rainbow jellies. Both of our teas were super weak, watery, and tasted like city water was used. It was gross. The sweetener they used tasted artificial and way too sweet. The jellies were the only good part. Also, after dumping my tea out and eating only the jellies I saw a bug frozen in my ice which tells me they have dirty ice. WILLNOTRETURNHERE.

Terrible Thai bobba tea. I ordered this today and it tastes anything but like a Thai iced tea. I would have been better off getting a powdered instant Thai tea than attempting to drink this garbage. The taste leaves me with a dry mouth and tongue and the flavor doesn’t taste like a typical Thai tea. It leaves me with a feeling I typically get when I drink artificial sugars. And I didn’t ask for a lite version. This review is based solely on the Drink. I have ordered drinks twice and have been left unimpressed. I can not comment on the food.

After reading all these awesome reviews I thought I would give it a try. Can’t go wrong with strawberry banana smoothie! I might be wrong with assuming. First of all the owner was a cool guy. But for a place like this that does not have a constant flow of customers, I totally understand why it’s not fresh but still can’t justify that. The drink is good but way too sweet! If that makes any sense. The tapioca is way to smooshy Has a mash potato consistency! My advice would be just make a bag or 2 a day fresh. And if you sell out make more. The smooshy tapioca either means leftovers or way over cooked.

Does anyone know if this place is closed? I recently wanted to stop by, but the door had the inside gates shut, so I didn’t bother stopping.

I absolutely love this place and to think that the majority of the time it is only run by one person! I think one of my favorite things to get is the shredded chicken banh mi, YUM! They are so flexible and accommodating that they give it to me how I like it, more veggies and no jalapeños. I love how crispy the bread is and the meat is always tasty. The drinks are almost always awesome! Sometime the milk tea is a little too milky for my taste but otherwise, my favorite drink there is the Thai Tea. It’s the perfect amount of half and half with the tea. I love that they also Vietnamese coffee too! The additional snack that are around are a bonus. Today I got a pack of roasted seaweed; I’m telling you, what a healthier alternative to Lays potato chips!

Super friendly and super yummy bubble teas! The boba is nicely chewy without being undercooked or slimy. Seems like they also sell some tchotchkes. Too bad they don’t have any veggie banh mis.

As thrilled as I am to have a Vietnamese teahouse in this part of town to offer variety from taco trucks, I can’t give more than 2 stars after my first 2 tries. Based on the other glowing reviews, maybe I’ve been unlucky in my visits. Both times, there has only been one employee, and they move slowly. I’ve come on weekends or evenings, and maybe right after rush periods, but they seemed unprepared for customers. Once, they didn’t have any clean blenders for my smoothie, so the one employee had to run and wash one. The second time, they didn’t have the fresh mango cut to blend my drink, so they had to cut one up. Despite the wait, I appreciate them taking the time to cut the mango there for me instead of just saying«we’re out.» The first time, I ordered a coconut smoothie which was just bad. It was more watery than creamy and it tasted like the gross syrupy stuff used to make cheap pina-coladas. Second go-round I tried the mango smoothie. I KNOW they used fresh fruit and not a syrup this time because I saw them cut it(as I mentioned). However, perhaps the mango wasn’t quite ripe yet or they left some skin on it because my smoothie had that distinct piney flavor that you’ll sometimes get from un-ripened mango. How hard is it to make a smoothie? If I could find where to purchase the tapioca balls, I’d just add them to my delicious homemade fresh smoothies. I’ll probably give them ONEMORETRY for a taro smoothie, but as of now, I’m disappointed.

I live closer to bellaire, but since my bf lived in this area, id just get thai tea with tapioca here. We love the thai tea here, esp because when they make it thick and sweet! Although I’ve been exposed to many tapioca places around Bellaire I have to admit … I would rather get my tapioca fix here!!! However, recently it hasn’t been as good as it once was but I think its because the original owner has a new store and is usually at her other location. This location is now run by the workers and they just don’t make it as good! But its ok, I still enjoy it. Btw their pork banh mi is a must try! :-) My bf and I use to come so often that the owner already knew 2 large Thai teas with tapioca! Lol

The pork sandwiches are super cheap and delicious. We drive from our house to get them. The ingredients just taste so fresh compared to other shops near us. You can ask for extra pork too. They also make fresh fruit smoothies.(You literally see them only putting the frozen fruit into the blender.) My personal favorite is the honey dew melon smoothie. Great food for a good value.

If I’m in the area(which is daily since I work nearby) I always want to stop in and get a drink from there. Sometimes it takes a while for your drinks or sandwiches but it is a good thing I already have them in my contacts list! I call my order in ahead of time and just pop in and out. Sandwiches are ok– come for the drinks. I like the avocado smoothies(made with actual avocados and not some weird gross powder junk) and teas. They have a punch card program for drinks too.

this place is really close to me and since they’ve changed owners, its not quite the same, but their jasmine green tea is light and not too sweet. two different sizes available. punch cards for frequent visitors. the tapioca is hit or miss though. sometimes good sometimes hard…(that’s what she said) i did have one argument with one of the workers, I’m sure it was a translation thing but she argued with me for like 5 min that they didn’t have jasmine green tea when i get it there all the time…5 min of my life later that i couldn’t get back, come to find out they had just run out and currently didn’t have it. but since its so close, reasonably priced and typically tastes good. i forgive you for the one incident. they have shaved ice but i’ve never tried it. the thai iced tea is good. i believe they have banh mi too but never tried that… so the multiple times I’ve been here, enough to give the A-Ok.

This place is great! I would gladly drive all the way down just to get my fix of boba. The sandwiches with BBQ pork are full of flavor and their smoothies are almost to perfection. I recommend mango slush(smoothie) with lychee jelly. Cheap and great flavors! Always willing to return.

This place is good! They even seal the lid… they seemed sort of disappointed when I didn’t order food but the blended mocha with tapioca I got was good! No complaints!

Altogether my experience can be summed up with one word. Yum. I enjoyed the hot coffee there. I’m not saying it was excellent, but it was better than average and that will do. They sweeten it and add cream to it fit their specifications, not yours, so I will tell you now it’s not exactly custom order… at all. The thai milk tea was extremely strong and I did have to water it down to enjoy it. The ice mocha was yummy and the viet sandwich had good flavor.

Five stars for the honeydew slushie alone. I forgot how good it really is, especially when the fruit is ripe and luscious. I might even argue that is absolutely unnecessary to go Inside The Loop, when you get bubble tea this good in the nether reaches of Spring Branch.

LOVELOVE this place! I go here at least once a week. to the point where the owner remembers who I am that she sent my friend some eggrolls to give me. SOoooo SWEET! I don’t know many eateries that are so thoughtful. Anywhoo, the chicken vietnamese sandwiches are so tender and well marinated. YUMYUM. The pork is the 2nd best! Their drinks are deelish and I’ve never been disappointed once. Must try their fresh watermelon drink, OMG. so perfect for unpredictable HOT days in Houston. They sell yummy wings and several other stuff there also. When you buy up to 10 drinks, you’ll get 1 free. Don’t forget to ask for your stamp card! :)
