The breakfast tacos are excellent. It’s a pretty standard, family owned, Mexican joint. There isn’t much to it, a few tables and a small front counter, but the food is delicious. It is everything you would expect it to be. It reminds me of a donut shop. :) enjoy!!!

Very good hole in the wall. Tortillas are homemade and the food had a homemade feel to it as well. The Carne Guisada and Carne Decebrada was absolutely awesome. Recommend it!

I took my wife for breakfast and there was no coffee after 0900AM. The lady that works there said the owner gets upset if they make coffee after this hour. The tacos are good eventhough I wish these were homemade tortillas. I do not think the fajita taco is really fajita meat there is a difference in taste. Employees in my opinion need to be a little more friendlier. The restaurant is very clean and I liked that

Eh. I’ll start with the good. The tacos are nice sized. I was worried they’d run out of everything. Nothing was out where you could see it except for the old breakfast pastries. I quickly noticed the sign on the wall. You have to spend ten bucks to use a card. I later noticed the part that said you could add fifty cents if you fell short of the minimum. I was hoping for pastor(pork), but I was informed I could only have beef or chicken. :(after I paid, the lady brought my taco. She licked her fingers as she walked away. Eww. I said my grace and left to try the taco. It was cold and average at best. The beans overpowered the beef. The Pico de gallo was kinda lame. There was no salsa. I might try breakfast tacos, but i won’t cone back for lunch.

Ok gave this place a shot. Gotta say pretty darn good breakfast tacos. I went for the chorizo & egg and one that had potato, chorizo & beans. Tortillas were fresh & red salsa yummo! 2 nice size tacos for $ 3! Can’t beat that. Will be back to try other items for sure.

After reading the reviews on this place I had to try it, and i was not disappointed. The tortillas are fresh, but so is the pico. Keeping it simple for a first visit i went straight taco’s, but they have it all… enchilada’s, gordita’s, you name it. I would be giving it a 5 but for my love the the long dead Taco Bus, but a solid 4 plus here! I am a fan for sure!

Good tacos and very friendly staff. If you want a quick in and out, or even sit for a minute. Just be there before the regulars get there, because they can sniff out newbies and you may have to step aside! LOL.

I love this place! I usually stop in about once a week or so on my way to work in the morning(except when I’m on a diet LOL). I wasn’t sure about it at first because it’s a hole in the wall type of place but I was super hungry one morning(and craving breakfast tacos like you wouldn’t believe) so I decided to give it a shot… I think that was about two years ago give or take. The breakfast tacos are cheap and super yummy… I haven’t had their lunch yet but I’m sure it’s yummy too. They have lots of options too… although I just stick to the same exact thing every single time. I’m not sure and I always forget to ask, but I think they even make their own tortillas… at least it tastes like they do. The ladies are friendly and the service is quick… even when there’s a line. Sometimes the parking lot can get kinda full though, but that’s probably a good indication that it’s yummy. I’m usually out the door in under three minutes which is nice because I don’t always have a lot of extra time in the mornings. So if you’re in the area and find yourself craving breakfast tacos you should definitely try Julia’s.

I have only been here once, for breakfast tacos, but they didn’t disappoint. My mexican husband is always looking for good tacos, and he approves. It’s even better because we can walk to this place. I had a chorizo, egg, potato and cheese taco and it was really really tasty. My husband had a chicharon and bean taco, and he liked his alot, and he tried mine and liked that, too. We’ll definitely be back for more.

Formerly just Texas Taco, Julia’s Texas Taco is a small shop churning out traditional Mexican fare in a little strip center off Bingle. They close by 5:00 pm, but they’re open bright and early, so this place makes a great stop for breakfast or lunch. In the morning, come in for all your breakfast taco necessities, from the common bacon or potato and egg, to the savory Mexican egg or chorizo combinations. But I think lunch is where Julia’s really shines — that’s when you’ll get the time-intensive, slow cooked and marinated dishes, moist and dripping with juices, like the deshebrada(silent«h,» des-ebrada) or barbacoa, both of which I had today. The simple menu changes with daily specials, and you can either get a lunch plate with two meats, rice, and beans, or your choice of tacos, generally with those same meats. Occasionally you’ll see enchiladas or something else. Anyway, I got three tacos(only $ 1.50 each!) of the aforementioned deshebrada, barbacoa, and a carne ranchera. They make their own flour and corn tortillas in house, and they stand up to the slow cooked juices without breaking apart. If you want to try some rich, traditional homestyle Mexican dishes, Julia’s Texas Taco is the place to be.
