LOVE this place. These ladies are some talented seamstresses. Everything I take in comes out fantastic. And they’re always so friendly. Very affordable as well. Would highly recommend.

I came here because someone else I knew had their wedding gown altered here for a reasonable price. Mary, one of the sisters who runs the place, is very nice. She quoted me a very good price and got the work done in time, but I did have to call a few times to push her along. They took in my gown and made a sweetheart neckline just fine, but when it came to the hem, well, we had major issues here. I admit I had a difficult hemline due to the scalloped lace which had to be removed entirely and brought up, and maybe I didn’t think it through when I bought the dress. Mary said it would look funny if I hemmed the dress too short due to some appliques on the dress, so I had to find some hooker heels to wear on my wedding day. Unhappy about this, but what could I do? The problem was even though she measured to my heels, the dress still came out too long. I argued this with her, and she finally agreed to redo it, but it was STILL too long on my wedding day. She claimed I needed higher heels, but I was already in 5-inch platform heels – the same pair she measured me in before fixing it the second time. This was probably my most stressful incident during wedding planning, and I felt it could’ve been avoided. How hard is it to measure a hemline properly if you’re a professional seamstress? I ended up taking scissors to the petticoat out of desperation. Well, I guess I got what I paid for. I would recommend K&M only if your gown is simple to alter.
