I love going to Kim’s– guess I’ll admit to being a «regular!» Family owned and operated, and someone from the family always greets me with a smile. It’s a small place so the selection isn’t huge but if there’s something you need that’s not part of their current stock they can usually stock it for you. So convenient, and way less sketchy than Fiesta or Ralston!

This place is a little under decent. Just like a gas station convenient store. Very sketchy feeling. I ran in and grabbed a six pack of craft beer. $ 11 plus change for a sixer of santo seemed really high. Checker was pretty stand offish. Asked for my id before I could even get the beer on the counter! I’d come back. but only as a last option.

I enjoy going to Kim’s Liquor not only is it just a block away from where I live but I am always greeted with a ‘Hello.” I would not say that this location is shady, shabby, sketchy or scary. Yes the prices are a bit high but it is for the convenience for what they offer. Your other option is the WAY overpriced First Stop down the street or Fiesta over on Shepherd. I prefer Kim’s as not only do they have the beer I enjoy they have these home made chicharones both spicy and non. I go for the spicy and ask for more spice!
Will continue to support Kim’s Liquor.

This is your friendly neighborhood sketchy as fudgsicles liquor store. It is dark, dirty, and smells odd. But they have liquor … and like Cadillac Liquor it is not Spec’s, but as it turns out for these two, not being Spec’s is a bad thing.
Kim has overpriced her wares and since nothing else is reasonably nearby you either pay the idiot tax attributed with shopping here, drive to Midtown for Spec’s Warehouse, or you just go without Uncle’s cough syrup for now.
The best thing about it is that it is across the street from Jus’ Mac.

Decent selection for a mom and pop shop. They have pretty much all the regular stuff you normally can elsewhere and then there are some unique beverages. Prices are a bit elevated. We needed something quick after Jus’ Mac across the street so we really didn’t have many options.
