While trying to figure out where the AmEx Centurion Lounge will be, checked into this one for a break. Attentive staff and average food and beverage offerings make for a reasonable place to relax. The space is showing its age with significant wear on the upholstery as well as deeply stained furniture and carpet. Since the United Clubs have upped their game in the last year or so, this lounge is probably not worth trekking over to D, but is OK if this is your departure terminal. This will be no competition for what will lie behind the blue doors which will hopefully be opening in June.

Disclaimer: I have priority pass to access both the Klm lounge and air France lounge at the iah This is ok, the staff is really nice, and friendly. Definitely props for their staff. However for my personal preference, I definitely like the air France lounge better. Since it’s more airy and it actually has a window that looks out to the sky instead of inside of the iah. They do have 1 thing different from air France lounge. They offer a craft brew beer from Houston that’s not available in the air France lounge. So props to them on that. Otherwise I like the setting of air France much better then the fuax window/blinds of klm. Just my 2 cents.

We had a couple of long layovers going to and from Costa Rica last week. Both times we were able to go to KLM and relax. I love the self serve bar so I can customize my drink, good snack type food(cold citrus pasta, various soups, pita and hummus, finger sandwiches, chips, cheese, veggies and dips), and the staff is awesome. They clean up and restock quickly! It was nice to sit in a comfy chair and recharge my phone with a nice gin and tonic in hand. My one suggestion is maybe the bathrooms… they weren’t the cleanest, and they smelled pretty awful both times. However, I will still be very happy to use this lounge on future international layovers :)

Teeny tiny lounge at the Houston Airport. Food offerings were ok, some veggies and hummus, mediocre soup. Best part was the self-serve bar! 3 rum and diet cokes before my flight to mexico at 11am? Ok!

So it’s your standard airport lounge, serving standard food out of a bag. But the standout item here is the water. Yeah. I said that. The water with citrus and cucumber. It’s perfectly chilled and refreshing. I know this may sound silly. But after a long flight and everything that feels sterile this is the one thing that feels honestly fresh and refreshing. Be sure to get a glass!

I was not impressed by this lounge. LoungeBuddy suggested there was«premium food», but all I saw was some soup, pita bread, a vegetable platter, and small pastries. I went around 8PM, and there were still pastries(maybe from breakfast, who knows). Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the food, or the drink selection. Yes, there is an open bar, which means a few bottles of alcohol for you to use to make your own drinks, but not a great selection. It really doesn’t compare to the AMEX Lounges, with a full service lunch/dinner and staffed open bar. I kinda wished I had just gone to a fast food joint in the terminal, I probably would have gotten a better meal.

They do accept Delta membership but you must be traveling overseas. The place is cool but packed with … Stranded passengers? I am not a fan of folks taking their shoe off and putting their feet on chairs and tables yuck! Where is the class, dignity and respect for other travelers. I would hope that this is not the norm since the place is packed. However in the computer kiosk the pcs don’t work or don’t have a mouse to navigate the screen. I’m here for 4 hours… Boo KLM There is actually better seating with a view just out side this lounge.

Reasonably comfortable seating and ambiance. But the food and drink is totally uninspired. A salad with scummy black leaves peppered throughout, a crappy little pasta salad. Liquor bottles strewn willy nilly to help yourself from. Packaged Oreos and Lorna Doons. Can’t wait for the AMEX Centurion Lounge to open. Hurry up!

I was excited to have a lounge available after a long terrible red-eye flight. The hours listed online said it would be open at 6am, but when I arrived the little sign indicated someone would be there at 7am that day. I sat patiently reading a book and hoping the opener would arrive before 7. Not w chance. The lady showed up at 7:30am to a line of 10 people desperate to get in. Once inside I was disappointed by the options for snacks and drinks but took a bagel and sat down to enjoy the limited offerings. As I was enjoying the peace of the lounge I noticed another patron opening up cabinets and taking out an instant ramen bowl(of the Shin-Ramyun just add water variety) for his friend. The Hispanic cleaning staff glared on as I did in horror but said nothing. Not ten minutes later another patron went in there and rummaged around for a ramen bowl. What I want to know is, is that kosher?! If so, you should make that known to all patrons, and if not, naughty patrons should be told that is not okay. I’d have preferred a ramen bowl to the sad pastry options and not-fresh bagels!

My reference for a 5 star lounge is the AmEx Centurion club network, my reference for a 3 star lounge is a domestic lounge(United). KLM falls in between. The facilities are definitely nicer than most United lounges(unless you go to the one in the international terminal at IAH), but the selection and amenities are lackluster when comparing what the Centurion lounges have to offer. I was able to check out the KLM lounge using my Priority Pass like most of the other reviewers, it was painless and the lounge was near empty on a Sunday morning. Food options were scarce, just some danishes, muffins, and trail mix. The canned drinks had a weird black residue on the top so I just went with bottled water. They have ozarka and Perrier available. There is also an open bar, but drinking on a Sunday morning just seemed sinful. Wifi is provided, the front desk has the card for the login information. Internet is pretty slow, I had some problems downloading bigger files, and probably should’ve just used my boingo account, but free wifi is free wifi. It is a really relaxing lounge and definitely worth it if you are stuck on the A/B terminals at IAH since those tend to get really crowded around the gate area.

Like the other reviewers, I have Priority Pass and this is the only lounge in Houston that accepts it. Fortunately, it’s a pretty good option since it’s definitely better than many United and Delta lounges I’ve been to. Pros: – quiet, and has several different seating areas so you can have your space – clean – there are power outlets everywhere Cons: – fairly small; if people did show up, it wouldn’t take much to fill up – a bit of a walk because it’s not near much – the chairs aren’t very comfortable and haven’t been updated in a little while

This is a great lounge. Was able to get in with my Priority Pass. Plenty of open seating, and it was very comfortable. Food and drinks were all free of course. The food that was offered… Lobster Bisque, Various coldcut sandwhiches, bags of chips, Oreos, vegetables, and perhaps a few other items I can’t recall. Even better, the alcohol was self serve, so you could drink whatever you want, as much as you want. They had decent alcohol choices too; not well/house drinks. Plenty of options for both alcohol /non-alcohol beverages. Wifi was free and bathrooms were clean/modern(much better than the public airport bathrooms) TIP: This lounge is in Terminal D(international terminal). My flight was flying out of terminal C but since I knew I wanted to try out this lounge, I went directly to terminal D, which turned out to be a great decision. There was literally 0 people in the security line, so I zipped right through. It did however take about 20min to walk from the lounge to my gate in terminal C, but it was still worth it. I only wish I had shown up to the airport earlier so I could have spent more time in this lounge.

I came here using my priority pass card(so it was free for entry). The wifi connection was solid. The good thing was that the terminals were connected, so I was able to come to this lounge despite my gate being in another terminal. It was around lunch time so they had cold cuts, bread, soup, pasta salad, and other snacks. The cold cuts were good quality, but the breads were very plain sandwich style sliced breads. They have a self-serve bar with a selection of hard liquor and wine. The wine I tried(chardonnay) was excellent. If you have complimentary access to this lounge either via KLM or priority pass, I would absolutely recommend it. If you have to pay a fee to enter, it would still be worth it if you plan on using wifi and enjoying some complimentary alcohol.

This is now my second time through here and this is definitely one of the best airport lounges I have ever visited. They have a full service bar complete with as many drinks as you would like, including wine, beer, and several different kinds of hard liquor. They also have several snacks readily available, including fresh fruit, greek yogurt, tea, coffee, packaged pastries, and soup. The wifi is free, the space is really clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. In sum, a great way to spend your time in between connecting flights.

Great lounge — love the friendly staff and food options. The lounge is fully stocked with fresh fruits, vegetables and a sandwich/deli tray. There are potato chips and a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The room is comfy with enough seating to be private. There are plugs near most chairs for re-charging your personal items as well. The wi-fi is free with a code from the front desk. Even if you don’t belong to this club, you can eat, drink and relax your way through hours if you have a long layover. The cost you would pay to eat and drink outside the lounge would probably cover admission. Great lounge!

I got into the KLM Crown Lounge near Gate D for free with my Priority Pass Select card. It has lots of places to sit, with two TVs. The bathrooms are very clean. The WiFi is free. I especially enjoyed the self-serve free full bar. There were small beverage refrigerators for beer, water, juices, mixers, and wine. Made myself a Jack & Coke, a Manhattan, and a to-go cocktail. Free chips, coffee, soup, pasta, candy, wraps, fruit, and snacks. Worth the walk from a gate much further away. Many lounges have limited drinks and snacks. If I had to pay $ 25 to come here, it would be worth it, considering how pricey drinks and snacks are at airport restaurants. Plus the chance to get away from the IAH crowds is an added plus.

You can’t say bad things about a lounge giving you free food and drinks. So I won’t…I’ll tell you this though, the hot food selections suck! That’s a fact. Plus side… You can get Havana Rum in the Amsterdam lounge, awesome! The Houston lounge has a M&M dispenser and St. Arnold’s beer! KLM lounges are not as awesome as Emirates or BA, but they could be if they tried a little harder. You hear that KLM? Try harder to please me with your free stuff!

Very nice lounge. Clean, good selection, not busy at all. Nice change for me. Normally the Sky Team lounges in my flight paths can be very busy. Worth stopping in.

Amazing, full-service lounge. Self-serve full bar including liquor, beer and wine. Soft drinks in smaller bottles and cans. Fresh soup and pasta of the day. 3 types of wraps. Chips. Candy bars. One-touch fresh-cup Starbucks coffee. WiFi. Big screens. Plenty of electrical outlets. Divided into two areas. One contains a row of 4 computers for internet use. A nice selection of international papers to choose from(French, German, Spanish). Well-lit. Staff in retro-style blue uniforms were friendly and helpful.
