This would be a better place to get gas if the pumps would work better with taking debit & credit cards. Also it would be better if you didn’t have to go to the store and get a receipt.

What’s up lately with this location being closed after 9 pm?! It’s supposed to be 24 hours! It usually is, which is a BIG selling point with me, so I’m guessing there’s the occasional system glitch that forces them to close. Oh, well. I like coming here since the prices are usually a little cheaper, and I LOVE that I get to use my fuel points for an additional discount. My only other gripe is that the receipt paper is often empty at night, which means they’re not checking it before the customer service desk closes at 8 pm. Really frustrating to get gas and have the«see customer service for receipt» message pop up on the screen – and you know that the desk is closed!

I like the Kroger Fuel Centers. The prices are always better than any other local gas station, and I really appreciate when I can get 10 – 20 cents off just because I bought my groceries a Kroger(which I would do, even if I wasn’t getting fuel there). This particular location is a little odd, on the complete opposite side of the parking lot where Kroger is located. It is more on Ella than on 43rd Street. It doesn’t stay too busy. Only on one holiday weekend occurance did I actually have to wait for a pump. There are two things that I really don’t like about this location, though, and they are: 1. Because it is secluded from the store, sometimes a vagrant will lurk nearby and ask for money and it makes me feel unsafe. 2. Because there is no attendant, when they run out of receipt tape, you have to drive over to the store if you want to get a receipt.

It is right up the road from my house and I had enough Kroger points for a discount. Unfortunately I was on the way to the airport and already running late when I pulled up at the pumps. The first one was not working according to the very kind woman filling up next to me, so I pulled up at the next available pump and it took my card and it charged me a dollar(found out later) and gave me nothing, as did the third pump I tried. Went next door to the Shell station on the corner for a splash and go, as the Kroger Fuel Center had put me way behind schedule.
