I never really seem to have a good experience at this store. Today was the worst experience yet. I went to return a box of Mini Wheats that was stale. I had my receipt and was told that I had to do an even exchange and could not get my money back. Reluctantly I went to get another box and the cereal was not on sale this week so it was $ 3.47 instead of $ 2.50. The customer service woman told me that I would have to pay the difference. WHAT?! That is ridiculous. How is that an even exchange? I’m supposed to pay another dollar because I got a stale box. Where is the logic?! Helloooooo… common sense where are you? She didn’t know how to handle it so she ended up giving me a refund, which she should have done in the first place. That’s not all though. When I went to check out at the self-checkout I needed a price check and walked up to the cashier who was talking to another worker about some kind of personal matter. I stood there for close to a minute before I was finally acknowledged. By acknowledged I mean the cashier looked at me but didn’t say anything. Maybe she was mad that I interrupted her personal conversation. I don’t know, but I do know that I will never give this store my business again.

This is the closest grocery store to the house so I went. The selection is limited and not too fresh. Check out lines are 2 sometimes if you are lucky 3. I rather driver farther out for a better one.

I went into this grocery store just recently and it was my first time. I was not impressed at all. I was at the money center and the lady there was very nice and pleasant. As I stood and waited in line. I heard rude obnoxious people; they were so loud and their way of speaking was just despicable. I am not one to get upset with one for having a little fun at work but their conversation was so loud the whole store could hear it. One of them was scanning another bagging and two more just standing around conversing. A poor woman was checking out and you could tell she was uncomfortable. This Kroger is one I would consider less than classy. I will not be attending again.

Have to give it a three star for now, since they’re still renovating it. I want to say that it needed it. We came through Houston last June, and it looked very dated. The produce section looks amazing! Clerks are very nice and helpful!

Unilocaling about a grocery store is kinda lame, I admit. Its your typical grocery store, so why Unilocal about it? Well, this one seems cleaner inside than most of the grocery stores I’ve been in. The clerks are very friendly and they even had a HUGE deli full of Boars Head meats and cheeses. Lots of people just grab the little bags of pre-sliced cheese and meat, not realizing its usually WAY cheaper(per ounce) at the deli, but not always. Also, the meat is cut to the way YOU like it – thin, thick, etc. And way more variety than grabbing it out of the cold-air section. If you shop the bargains, you can almost always beat Walmart and/or Targets prices on just about everything food related, not to mention how much fresher the fruits and veggies are than at a Super Walmart. Is it perfect? Nope, but it sure is a lot cleaner and WAY less busier than a Walmart, and without some insensitive clod who goes into a 15 items or less line with a basket full of groceries. Dont forget your Kroger card for additional savings :)

You fight your way home in evening traffic. You make it to the grocery store, get your items, and they always only have two out of 10 or 12 lanes open, which means I am still waiting in line. It’s frustrating. They never have enough lines open so people can just quickly check out. The store is laid out really poorly. When I have time I go to a different grocery store.
