Never again will I spend my money here. This was a quick stop for me while I waited for my bf to file her taxes. I ordered a pound of crawfish mild, and a half of dozen of grilled oysters. To my disappointment the crawfish were hella small and it seemed like that poured the buttery garlic sauce over the crawfish rather than boil the crawfish in the sauce so the meat is more favorable and remind you this is during crawfish season. And let me not begin on how horribly the grilled oysters were. If my battery wasn’t at 5% I would have shared the burnt hot mess of piece of grilled oysters they gave. I know it may seem like I’m being a debbie downer but I must share my experience because if you’re a true seafood eater and you’re looking for a good place to indulge in some seafood greatness this is not the place unless you’re okay with wasting your money.

Good was good & people were friendly, but service was strange. Took way too long to get acknowledged once sat, very slow on drink refills, tartar sauce was very watery(yes…watered down tartar sauce), and the strangest thing is that my husband, who ordered crawfish, was served a good 7 minutes before I got my order of catfish. I also had to eat my steamed veggies with my hands… why? No forks. Kid you not.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years or so, at first everything was really good and I’d make a trip once a week. Their house crawfish flavor is delicious. However, their service isn’t that great. The employees act like they don’t care about customer service. Also. They rarely pick up the phone for to go orders. which is a bummer… cause I hate having to wait, since i drive about 20 mins to get there every time.

This place is awesome. I tried crawfish for the first time here and haven’t stopped getting it from here since! I’ve never had anything else from the menu. But if you’re looking for some super good crawfish this is the place!

Crawfish… This is the only reason it should catch your attention, but wait there is more!!! The spice that is in the rice and fish is very good. You can never go wrong with either one. The service maybe a little slow when it’s crowded but the food makes up for it. During the season the tables are loaded with crawfish and shrimp so just be prepared to have a seat and enjoy the moments of the art of pinch pull and twist!!.

You will definitely get your money’s worth. And leave stuffed. They do it all from Crawfish to fish to gumbo everything is Delicious! So glad we found this place.

I would came here frequently during this past crawfish season and I always enjoyed the food. Prices for the crawfish are very reasonable for crawfish season and the flavors and spices used were different. Definitely not Cajun but still very good. I like how the fuse different spices together. Shrimp boil is also tasty as well as the seafood baskets. I think this place could use some renovations. The booths look a bit outdated. And every time I’ve been there the servers seem to be pretty young but they are efficient. Also they charge extra for some things I believe should be a given. For instance why do I have to pay more to receive corn and potatoes, which should come with my crawfish? But whatever. I really don’t understand why people would buy crawfish when it is not in season. It’s just a 50⁄50 chance your taking on receiving small portions. So guys just don’t take the chance.

Had one pound of blue crab and 1 lb of crawfish to go. The crawfish were tiny and they put in a corn for weight. The blue crab was foul and unfresh. This was my one of my most go to Crawfish places, really sad, but I won’t be back for another experience like this.

After visiting this crawfish locale a few times over a span of a couple of years, I can see why this location gets the mixed reviews. Location is not terrible, but not river oaks either. The interior of the restaurant is a little worn to say the least and the bathrooms are ok. Service was alright, but they didn’t honor my friends living social coupon for the paid value, even though it was still valid for another year into 2016. The crawfish size was alright, some big ones, but mostly small ones underneath. The cajun was not all that spicy and we had to ask for just about everything, our waitress didn’t seem too knowledgeable at all. Their butter, seasoning and hot sauce was not in a central location for customers. I think I’ll stick to my other favorite LA Crawfish location afterall!

Again. Place never fails me. Spices are amazing and stick to the food perfectly. Came during late lunch and there was no wait. Waiter was very attentive and sweet.

Everyone seems to loveeee this place! I decided to update my review and add a star, I went again 2x the last two months. We ordered the house spicy garlic and my boyfriend and I ate about 6lbs, it wasn’t as «smoky and thick» as I remember and had more juicyness to it, I loved it! So I went back again this weekend and it was more dry like the first time I had it, lots of oil on the bottom and less garlic. Idk, I feel like their not consistent with their crawfish. It’s still pretty good but I don’t think it’s «the best» in town. I could only eat about a pound since the spicy level was too much for me. I ordered their gumbo, it was alright and the hush puppies which was really tasty! Oh and the last few times I’ve gone this year I have to say their bathrooms are lot cleaner than the first time I went. I would only come here again if I was out in Houston and in the area. For me driving from The Woodlands area to eat crawfish here isn’t worth the drive.

Great crawfish, I always get the house flavored medium. The fried broccoli is also worth a try. You will not be disappointed

So I finally tried this place out everyone’s been talking about the crawfish here hands down it’s about a7 not too bad pretty good deal on price buy 5 pounds get 1 free. WARNING make sure you get live crawfish, because the frozen or chewy and rubbery fresh is always better, our server Quinn B. Is the best and super friendly country gal.

ORIGINALCUSTOMER! BESTCRAWFISHINHOUSTON! I was their 3rd customer when they opened in Summer of 2011. I love Mike and his family! I’ve tried many items but I normally get the Crawfish Etouffe, Spicy Cajun Crawfish and Red Beans & Rice. I was going a few times a week before I moved to Katy but I make it an effort to go at least twice a month. I am proud to watch them start out and now flourish with the customers and business. Great family with great values and delicious, authentic Cajun food! –Chef B

As we approach crawfish season, it is expected to pay about $ 6 a pound for crawfish. One pound of Crawfish with 2 potatoes, 1 corn, and ½ lb sausage($ 11.86). Is it worth almost $ 12 a pound? Definitely not. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but not the worst. I found it to be just ok. Adding half a pound of sausage to a crawfish order cost $ 4. A bowl of seafood gumbo($ 6) was ok, nothing to brag about and the grilled tilapia was salty and not worth $ 10.99, which was served with two whole broccoli florets and some old looking Spanish rice(can you say eewwww). I have no intentions on coming back to this particular location. It was $ 75. 14 down the drain. For $ 75, I could order a steak dinner. This place is affiliated with The infamous L.A. Crawfish, and this was the worst I experienced from the chain.

Just had lunch here yesterday it was one of the few crawfish places open around lunch time so I can most definitely appreciate that! I came intending to eat some fresh crawfish but I was given a heads up by the waiter that the fresh is kind of small so I went the opposite route and got frozen instead @ 5.99/lb. which is pretty normal in Houston for some decent crawfish. And it was also buy 5lbs and get one free! So I couldn’t pass up that deal. The service was not bad I’m not sure what everyone else is expecting from a crawfish place besides refills and to check in on you once in a while which they did for me. I ordered the garlic butter mild which was good! In normally a «house» flavor but I read a review that said it was kind of smokey flavor so I decided to stay away from that. Crawfish came out quick and hot! Couldn’t complain! But it was extremely cold inside and it was alright cold outside so I wasn’t trying to freeze my butt off while eating… Probably wouldn’t come here for dinner cause there are other options open but lunch this would def be my spot.

Really good crawfish even right now that it’s not even in season. Get the spicy lemon pepper flavor. They also have really good cajun wings and gumbo. Service for me has always been good. Just remember to seat yourself
