Don’t know what’s happening lately, but this place is starting to slide down when it comes to the kitchen. Service is still good, but they must have changed up on the cook because some of the food is starting to taste bland and badly reheated. But still when comparing to other places around here, it still has a leg up.

Tried this place for the first time due to a friends recommendation. The place is small and when I walked in it was full only a about 3 empty tables. The pozole was delicious and the service was outstanding. The waiters were very attentive. The price was very reasonable as well.

very good tacos. our to go spot for taco tuesday from my work. their corn, with onions and cilantro beef/chicken/other tacos are all very good. quesadillas are very good. larger than most taqueria tacos, 2 are good when i would have 3 from tacos la bala, etc. make sure to double check order before leaving if to go — not uncommon for stuff to be missing with large to go orders. also be very explicit if chicken quesadillas — have gotten beef on accident numerous times. solid taqueria on this side of town

Their chicharron con huevo is delicious and so is their crispy tacos. Friendly service and reasonably priced.

Excellent breakfast tacos — not super cheap, which is normally what’s so great about breakfast tacos, but they’re large and the quality is great. Ask for extra green sauce, it’s really good(and spicy). Fajita beef tacos are some of the best my husband’s had(and he’s had many).

A gem in the ghetto! Ok, fine. Not the ghetto, but definitely not the most payed attention to area. I was driving, craving food not knowing what to eat(I grew up in Mexico and good real Mexican food to me is like mac’n cheese or tomato soup comfort to others) and I happened upon this teeny taqueria but no one was in so I kept driving. Not a block later here it is. Tiny, colorful, on a corner and with cars outside bit no telling if they were in this business. I’m hungry, it says real, give it a shot! Service was poor on the waitress end but the owner is a sweetheart and you’ll find him sitting at the corner of their little breakfast bar where they place to go orders. The food was phenomenal. I am recently no longer a vegetarian, having ventured out in to seafood and poultry(a tad). And this was literally my first time ever ordering chicken enchiladas since I was maybe 12. Damn. I’ve had chicken and salsa recently so I know the flavors. But they were excellent. Cheap, good, food out in a reasonable amount of time, not too soon where it leaves you wondering if it was left behind and now reheated but not too long so it was still pipping hot. The salsa and chips were great, homemade tortillas and no English speaking patrons. Oh! They made a real and very tasty banana milkshake! Fresh aguas de temporada and Mexican soda also served here! Highly recommend it! I know I’ll be back!
