It says Houston, but this company is now operating in Dallas under the name of LS Movers, presumably because they were doing a terrible job there. I do not recommend ever working with this company. This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a business. This man is unprofessional and tactless in the most extreme sense. I was scheduled for between 12 and 1, «2 at the latest» on Saturday, November 7. At 3:15 that day, I called and Ernest Hunt said that his crew was finishing up at another job and he would let me know when they were on their way. At 5:41, I texted him, and he responded that the crew was«unloading now.» At 7:10, I texted him, and he responded«Ok.» At 7:56, my boyfriend called, and Mr. Hunt said he would call back. At 8:09 he called back and informed my boyfriend that they would not be able to move me at all that day. After a few minutes of refusing to admit fault or take any responsibility for his actions, Mr. Hunt then began to berate my boyfriend and insult his masculinity for reasons that we still can’t comprehend. Mr. Hunt told my boyfriend that he needed to «put his big boy pants on» and deal with it like a man. It seemed that Mr. Hunt was angry that we were calling him out on doing a terrible job and failing his client, and he was just lashing out at us. Then I asked to speak with him, and after several more minutes of him still refusing to admit that he had done anything wrong by not showing up when he said he would, he again began to slander my boyfriend’s character to me. During the conversation, he literally said, in reference to my boyfriend: «he sounds like a punk» and«you might want to check him; he might be gay.» It was at that point that I told him what I thought of him and hung up the phone because I refused to listen to that insulting stream of vitriol any longer. Not only is this man horribly unprofessional, he is also offensive and beyond rude. I would not recommend having any contact with Mr. Hunt, in a business capacity or otherwise. If he treats potential customers like this, imagine how he’ll treat you once he already has your money. And furthermore, if he treats people this way, imagine how he will treat your belongings. His behavior was not only an unacceptable way for a business person to treat a client, but also for a human being to treat another human being. It was despicable. I would absolutely not recommend ever working with Mr. Hunt, in a professional capacity or otherwise.

If I could do a negative number of stars I ABSOLUTELY would. If you take any reviews with a grain of salt… please don’t blow past this one. Last Second Movers were late from the beginning to the end of my disastrous engagement. 1st issue they did not show up or call on the day that was originally scheduled to survey my home to write a quote. Sign #1. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the quote. They came to my home didn’t write anything down and promised to contact me back with a detailed quote. They mentioned the importance of wrapping all of furniture securely because I own large, nice pieces. They also advised that they would provide me with boxes to fully pack my home that they would purchase from a wholesaler… fast forward to the day prior to move I called the owner Ernest… to confirm when I would receive my boxes he advised me to go to home depot because he was in Louisiana on a job Sign #2. Dav of scheduled move 8 – 9 am on a Saturday morning they were a no show: after numerous phone calls and text messages and empty promises I was told that they could not come until Sunday Sign #3. They show up the next day 2 hours later than promised with no supplies to wrap and protect the items. But advised that they would start with the boxes and wrap later… Never ever did either of the owners address the issue of them being a day late, never did they offer to reduce the cost due to my inconvenience There was an issue on my part… my storage was not large enough and the building was closed they offered to take my items and bring them back the following day. Very nice gesture. Wayne who is the co-owner advised that he would contact me to bring the items back for storage. we spoke he advised that he would reach out to me after 6:30 to bring the items back over… he did not contact me… nor did contact them because they were scheduled to move me from the storage into my home in 3 weeks. Fast forward to today… after 2 additional attempts to schedule the delivery for the furniture that they could no longer hold… he shows up again 2 hours late, charged me $ 150 for gas asked for payment upfront after I realized that none of my furniture items were wrapped and i had damage to my items Wayne advised that he would reload my items on his truck unless I paid him immediately the first storage was too small so advised he should now charge me storage and additional moving fees… oh after he advised that GOD does not like Ugly… he lereft my items for me to store them myself. I could write so much more… however bottom line: Moving is a stressful enough„ hire a company with a reputable background, you want to be treated professionally not as if you are in alley making an illegal drug deal. Seriously you can Absolutely Find BETTER.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice… I understand that things can happen in a move; rain, broken down trucks, traffic, etc. Honest communication with a customer is key in handling those sorts of problems. LSM made me wait for a total of 12 hours over 2 days, all the while promising me that they were just about to head my way, almost done with their last move, putting my address in the navigation system at that moment, and insisting that I was a priority, that I should trust them. The only time I received updates about when to expect them was when I called or texted them. They offered to store my property overnight because there was no way they could get to my things loaded and to my storage before they closed at 9pm, and seemed almost offended when I declined, letting me know that they ‘OWNALOT(sic)’ and didn’t need my things. I was assured that they would be there the next day by 2 pm. At 3pm, it turned into 4:30, and at 4:45 it became 5 – 5:15, with a deeply discounted rate. It doesn’t matter if you offer to do it for free, if it never happens. After being yelled at, told that I just don’t understand how hard it is to move people, and accused of threatening him when I mentioned writing a review, I was done. At 4:45 I started looking for another mover, had a reputable one with legitimate reviews booked by 5, for the original quote that LSM gave me. LSM did offer to send me a gift card for the inconvenience if I would give them my address. Shouldn’t you have that already? Your time is worth more than this company’s empty promises. Hire someone else.

I wish I could give this a –3 stars. Told me twice in two days he would be there and never showed. Told me I was his highest priority and then gave all the excuses in the book… Truck broke down, the weather, blah blah blah. Left me in a huge jam. Never again, would never recommend. Like ever!!!

Needed to move a large heavy desk. Called on Sat to request the move on Sun. That wasn’t a problem for this company. From the phone call to the move I was treated professionally. On Sun three guys arrived(Gabriel, Chris and?(Sorry, forgot the third guys name)) They treated the desk with care even moving it upstairs. Definitely will use this company again. 5 star rating!
