We hired Laura for a family photo shoot this past December. The afternoon of our session was unusually cold and windy and our toddler was not in a very good mood. Laura was very patient & kind & followed our family of 3 all over our outdoor shoot while our reluctant toddler ran full tilt AWAY from all of us the entire time!
In spite of the challenging conditions she presented us with a gallery of beautiful photographs! In addition, I felt that her pricing & the length of time she allows for each session are very competitive & reasonable. Thanks for your great work Laura!

Who is Laura Sponaugle?, I wondered, when my husband told me he had scheduled a family photo shoot with her. Laura is a very warm person and a wonderful photographer. She does what she does with so much ease and with a very keen eye for the right moment to capture with her camera. We (the family) spent time with one another one Friday afternoon, while Laura just worked. The results were beautiful. We (I) would hire her again without reservation.

Laura is my long time friend and she is awesome but that is not the only reason I chose her to be my wedding photographer. She takes stunning and artful photos. Looking through other weddings she has photographed you wish for photos of your own that could be just as beautiful and she did not disappoint. She is also very knowledgeable from her years of experience on how much time she will need and the best times of day to get desired photos. Afterwards she will post all the photos on her website where you can download them and she will guide you through the process of choosing photos from each special moment that are the best for printing or making into an album. You will not be disappointed if you hire her!

Laura is amazing! I had her take some portraits of me for my business’ website and business cards. I really was just expecting something better than what I could take myself with a point and shoot but she completely surpassed my expectations. My photos turned out AMAZING and now I’m upset that I can’t make myself look that good in real life. On top of that, she knew just where to go and how to direct me. She was kind and professional throughout and I got my pics back ahead of schedule. I will never ever hire another photographer ever!

In addition to my bridal and wedding photography, Laura did a «life style» piece for me on a long overdue trip to see family in Oklahoma. She has an eye for capturing THAT MOMENT. Her approach to photography is very unintrusive, she kind of just lets the moment unfold and documents it through her camera. And if you need a little encouragement she provides excellent ideas and really allows you to feel comfortable while remaining yourself. Somehow, she captures the feeling and the mood of your special day or occasion.
As I am an aspiring photographer, I find myself viewing her website frequently to get ideas and inspiration. I can only hope to one day be as great as a photographer as she.
In addition to her amazing photography, Laura has a shining personality and truly feels like part of my family.

Awesome photographer, had a GREAT time with her – fun and fresh. A real people person, put business second and my marriage first. Covered every detail of my wedding perfectly, so much so that I didn’t even worry about wedding photography for one second during the big day. She made sure that every detail was ironed out WAAAAYYYYY before my wedding day. Plus, the pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!!

Laura is an amazing photographer. Patient, cooperative, and creative, this professional knows how to crack you open and lead you outside your comfort zone. Considering that I have never taken a professional photo in my life, I was terrified of the scheduled shoot. Despite how nervous I was on the day of the shoot, Laura made me feel at ease. She provided amazing suggestions. I have never looked so good in photographs! Laura also has a great sense of the environment in which you’ll be taking your photos. Angle, lighting, positioning — you name it. The great thing about Laura’s photography is her ability to take photos that highlight the emotional dimensions of her subject. Only experienced photographers like Laura can bring out and capture a subject’s spontaneity, grace, and sincerity. I was extremely impressed by Laura’s talent to document such intimacy on camera. You simply can’t go wrong with Laura’s work!
