Lifeway Christian Stores

On the eve of Good Friday, I’d like to share my joy of finding a great place to shop for occasional to serious church goers at Lifeway Christian Store.
I, for one am not into celebrating Christmas as the commercial world wants me to be. I’d rather share the philosophy of meaningful gift giving throughout the year. This store gave me some ideas on how to achieve that.
I was a little skeptical when I walked in. The store layout grabbed my interest. I noticed they are focused on teaching to kids with all media upfront. I love the listening station and many inexpensive options in DVD’s and CD’s. Then, I saw those sculptures. Uh-​oh. I already started my gifting list for friends’ birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.
I think the location is excellent in many ways: next to Houston Baptist University, Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, funeral homes and conveniently located on the brand new Interstate 69 — Southwest Freeway.
Kudos to The Duke of this Lifeway Christian Store, Unilocaler Paul K. I wouldn’t notice what was behind the heavy foliage covered storefront.

This is the only central Lifeway bookstore in the Houston area.
Pros:
— many selections from a variety of authors
— Great place for Bible study kits — Beth Moore, Matt Chandler and many others
— studies and books available in Spanish
— aside from books, they also sell accessories and ornaments etc
— very organized — I love the fact that they have a whole separate section in the store devoted to group studies
— They have a rewards program

— located in an almost abandoned shopping center off the southwest freeway
