Light

Light has a VERY specific design aesthetic. I guess you could call it eclectic or quirky, for a few of the pieces «weird» comes to mind. (I wish I had taken a picture of the lamp with rat cages attached.)
The lighting makes a bold statement so if you want your light to also be a piece of art, you might find it here. Those in search of a more traditional style should look elsewhere. However, it is conveniently located right next to 2 other lighting stores, so I recommend stopping in for a look if you’re in the area. Think of it as an art gallery.

Justin Woolf and LIGHT were one of the highLIGHTS of our renovation project. He and his staff were knowledgeable, personable, and quick to the rescue when we needed a substitution or addition or change. Oh, and did I mention that he has the best store in Houston? So if you’re in Houston, or even if you aren’t, you should pay a visit. It’s like a field trip or museum trip. I’m not a shopper, but I love going here. It’s fun… and different… and beautiful!
Justin was a calming influence during the craziness of renovation-​time, and the advice he gave was right-​on. We love the design, courtesy of RD Architecture, and the hands-​on, courtesy of Superior Exterior, but I never realized what a crucial part LIGHT plays in design. We purchased our recessed lights, fixtures and outlets (LeGrand — gorgeous!), specialty lighting, pendants, bath sconces, etc., and even our kitchen chairs (Masters) from Light. We love it all.
Highest recommendations to LIGHT and Justin and his associates, and our thanks for making life sparkle. Go visit the showroom; you’ll love it!

RUN, DO NOT WALK TO THIS MOST FABULOUS LIGHTING STORE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! I’m an interior designer and this amazing lighting store caters to every style, price range and want. Justin, the owner is as talented as his dad, Bernard. Betsy, an incredible lighting designer extraordinaire. Well, there isn’t enough space for me to write about all her incredible talent, eye for design… the list would go on forever. Marley is also terrific.
If you haven’t been here, you have NO idea how much you’re missing. Designers, architects, builders, general public-​get with the program and you will not be disappointed!!!
