Linkwood Park

Visited this park at lunchtime, mid August. Shade parking available. Also shaded concrete pathway for scooter, shaded picnic tables and well kept playground equipment with chopped tree bark underneath. 2 children’s swings and 2 toddler swings are located close by.
There is a ½ basketball court and tennis courts also.
I would have given 5 stars but the community center where bathrooms are located are closed, even tho lights and a/​c were on and after we knocked then walked away a man opened the door peered out at us and then went back inside.

Among all other parks out there, Linkwood Park is a very descent one as it has a good size playgound, walking trail, tennis court, basketball court and also a nice baseball field for all sorts of activities! Plus it is in a very nice neighborhood! The only reason that I give it a 4 star is that it doesn’t come with a restroom. Since most of the time I hang out there for more than 2 hours, a temporary one isn’t feasible. There is no way for me to wash my face and hands. Or, just in case if I need to use the restroom for a longer time, what am I supposed to do? It would be ideal if the city can build a restroom there in the near future.
