Worst apartments I have ever been in Houston. The leasing people are so mean. I have lived there since an year and every month I hear something or other. My friend has been hit on his head and pulled his phone and wallet from his pocket. Half of the time the security gates doesnt work. They dont know to maintain the apartments and have got lot of bed bugs. dont go with the OUTSIDEAPPEARANCE. THINKYOU

I moved into The Lodge at Shadowlake in March 2011. They had good rates for the square footage. I pay $ 674 for 750 sq ft. I moved in and everything was ok… til the night. I can hear EVERYTHING the people upstairs and next door are doing/saying/watching. I HATE it. There were lots of roaches when I moved in. There isn’t anymore, I had to get them to spray twice. That means getting EVERYTHING out of my cabinets and drawers. So that passed… So in August I had my baby. I get up one morning to brush my teeth and there is NO water. No water with a newborn??? COMEON! The water was turned off for 10 + hours! I was beyond pissed. They didn’t even call to let us know what the hell was going on! And this wasnt just one or two times. There is never really any hot water. It always starts off warm then gets cold as you shower. They always have something going on where they go into your apartments when you are not there. Besides the things that happened to me, they DO keep the grounds clean. I never really see anyone outside. LOOKS are deceiving! Be aware.

Please dont be fooled by the dim witted leasing agents in this place. My wife and I moved to the lodge right at 2 years ago and thought we had made a great decision on our place. The property looked great safe and was close to my wifes work so we figured it was a perfect fit. The girls up front always had smiles on there faces and played such a great roll showing possible new residents the property, beware these women are by far some of the rudest moronic stuck up idiots ive ever dealt with(and im in retail so ive seen a lot). all they ever did was delay responses and deny responsibility for anything. During our stay at the lodge in our parking lot of our building alone there were over 25 break ins to cars(7 in one night) our neighbors were kick doored, tied up and robbed at gun point and these are just a few things that we know about. any how after each incident I and several other residents asked what was going to be done to keep this from happening(like putting up cameras etc.) all the girls replied was well we do have cameras at the office, what she didnt say was that the cameras were just for the office. I have never seen a security guard around once when supposivly there is 1 every night. please dont waste your money on a place with paper thin walls and as expensive and unsafe as this, there are many other place in houston where it costs half the rent and you can get robbed just as much and put up with less BS.
