The food is fantastic best «tripas» in the city. The service is great have been coming over 3 years. Recommend the food is authentic Mexican.

Decent sized restaurant on a side street, near my favorite mexican restaurant. They provide free queso with your chips and salsa. No lunch menu per se, just a list of specialty items on the 1^st 2 pages of the 4 page menu.
They offer 1 lunch special every weekday. I ordered the carne guisada (Monday’s special) for $ 7.95. My colleague and I chose both the homemade flour and the homemade corn tortillas. The meal comes with tortillas, pico and guacamole. I enjoyed it, even if the guisada was a little on the salty side.
They offer a few aguas frescas on the menu, so I ordered the melon which was pretty good, just had a lot of foam in it.
Service was friendly and attentive. I’d probably only return if I was in the area and my fav mexican place was closed again…

Loved stumbling upon this place! Excellent waitress, delicious taco salad and like the other reviews said, super authentic. A+

This place is great. The food and the service are good. The price is pretty great also and the bar is fully stocked. They offer both Tex-​Mex and some authentic Mexican dishes so the selection is pretty great. I’ve tried various items from the menu and there was never a time I didn’t enjoy the food I ordered.
Depending when you go, usually around dinner time on the weekends, there could be some form of live music. It’s not a place that you would probably hear about unless you lived close to the area but it’s worth going for good food and good prices.

This is an awesome whole in the wall Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood!
Although I am usually the only non Hispanic in this restaurant I am not at all uncomfortable by this fact.
The service here is quick and food is always excellent!
