Been coming here for years. From wedding rehearsal dinners to I-don’t-want-to-cook nights. Service is quick, food is tasty, and it’s been recently spruced up which is nice.

Food is ok however for those of us who need to take home it’s AWFUL!!! I can very rarely park in the take out space(only 2 spaces) because others are parked there, meaning patrons who are eating inside. When I brought this to the attention of the superivor, although he promised that he would look into the matter and see if either more spaces can be designated or have someone watching to be sure that only take out patrons are parked there, nothing was done. I also spoke to one of the owners there on a separate occasion and although he to promised to have something done, the same problem continues. He was very obnoxious in his attitude while speaking with me, like he really didn’t care. The ONLY good thing there is one of their employees, Jonathan. He has been the only good thing there and why I kept going there as my mom loves their food. Well, again I tried to go there to pick up food and once again I couldn’t park in the«Take Out» designated spaces. well, enough is enough. Not likely I’ll be going back after multiple times of the same old story. There’s other Mexican Restaurants near by who will now be getting my business every week. Sorry Jonathan. I wish you the very best in your endeavors.

Slow service, cold food, ambivalent waiters. Los Cucos used to be awesome. Now I might as well go to some big chain Texmex restaurant.

We lovingly call this location«Mexican Disney Land». When you walk in you will feel as if you stepped into the Mexico section of Epcot. The food is good. Nothing special. They do have a wide variety of grilled items that come to your table on a coal heated grill. Sunday morning buffet brunch is my favorite. Service is good. There are people who come here regularly and it seems to be pretty busy most of the time. Live mariachi band on Friday and Saturday nights.

We love this place their fajitas and garlic sauce is off the chain! Definitely worth it! I’d give five stars.

Average. I came with my parents and sister around Saturday 8PM for dinner. We drove through the front gates and thought we had entered a resort complete with palm trees, Spanish architecture, and a massive restaurant that looks like a hotel. The inside is huge, so we didn’t have to wait at all. There was only one vegetarian option on the menu, so we each decided to customize our own veggie enchiladas. Waiter with a Mexican accent + parents with an Indian accent = a lot of confusion with our orders. But in the end, our order came out surprisingly accurate. +1 star for that. But, the food was not so great. The tomatillo sauce was too strong and too sour. The portion size was also too large for me. They also charged $ 6 for a side plate of lettuce and tomatoes for the table!

I’ve been here twice and both times the service was pretty slow but I didn’t mind too much I was in good company. I ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla black beans and rice and loved everything except the rice. I’ve crowned it my go dish.

Attempted to visit Los Cucos for lunch and kindly asked the manager if my mascot, friend and service Malti-Poo could sit outside and eat lunch. Quickly she responded, «no service dogs allowed» and suggested I, «leave it in the car with the windows cracked». Typically I do not complain, however, due to her insensitive suggestion I found the need to pull up the Texas attorney general link and federal laws referencing service dogs and financial penalties for refusing service dogs. She never apologized but instead asked me what my disability was. I could go on and on about this incident, but let me be clear that I do not blame this lady. I blame Los Cucos for their lack of training and for minimizing the importance of service dogs. I suggested to the manager that she read up on this law and guaranteed her that the next vet with a service dog will not be as understanding. Never again will I return to Los Cucos.

Terrific, authentic, delicious Mexican food. Always order take out and they have very fast service. Plates are delicious and always a lot of portions, great for sharing with the family, and leftovers for later. Excellent salsa, especially the Verde salsa. Definitely recommend to anyone craving authentic Mexican food..

I have stayed away from this place for years because of service issues in past. Last night we went to eat and will not be back! Food was awful! The shrimp tasted frozen and crunchy w no sear on it for crunch. The only reason it was edible was that the sauce was decent. Rice tasted as if it was under a heat lamp all day. Nachos were very unflavored and unseasoned. Service was sub par, at best. The sauce on the chicken enchiladas was bland, I ate 3 bites and that was all. Will not be back!

Service was poor. Food was cold. And there was a live cockroach crawling on our table. They did offer to move us and comped two of the entrees but overall, not that great.

The food is soo good, but they definitely have roaches. :(Right after ordering a medium size roach appeared on table and calmly walked underneath it. I moved the baby bag wayyyy over against the wall, turned on my phone’s flashlight and looked for him but he got away. I don’t think they’re even trying.

We love this place. This is the first time at this location and we had a great time. Our waiter, Octavio, is awesome! He is always ready to make sure we are comfortable and enjoy everything. The drinks are good. Fresh fruit in their margaritas!

This review is for weekends they do brunch. The food is pretty legit, the service was strong, the conchas, and horchata are on point. They have 5 types of eggs, 5 different braised meats, churros, rice, 2 types of beans, chicken, beef, and chorizo fajita. Pancakes, cereal, milk, and soft drinks. I definitely think the value is strong

Not the Los Cucos I remember from the past. We were regulars some years ago. We didn’t even live close then but liked the food and margaritas. Fast forward, we’ve moved into the area and need our Mexican food fix. Some months ago we stopped in and were not impressed. There was a party table nearby and we felt neglected. The margarita i ordered was too sweet wIth insufficient liquor and our food was not at optimum heat. The tortilla chips seemed stale. TONIGHT– Ordered a margarita, TOOSHELF to be sure I could taste the liquor. It came out in a different glass(mug) than the pic in the beverage menu but didn’t give it much thought. I did notice it seemed more orange flavored than I am accustomed to in a Top Shelf Margarita. Turns out I was served«gold margarita, a bar menu“special» which has more orange liqueur. NOT what I ordered. Tortilla chips were once again stale. However salsa was very tasty. For dinner i wanted to order chili relleno, but theirs does not have the egg batter that other Mexican restaurants offer. Weird. SO ordered the poblano fajitas. They were pretty good but lacked the amount of poblano pepper that I expected. Still a hot dish with a generous amount of food. Service was great! Attentive without being annoying. It’s a Monday night so not real busy. This restaurant will not be on the too of my list but we will probably return if we get bored with others in the area.

The place was fine, the Services and Food were good too. The kind of flavor it is not my type. I am Mexican and this kinds of restaurant are focus on the Tex-Mex style. Additional $$$ I came only by a meeting appointment reason in other circumstances never.

I’d give the food 5 stars, but the service a 2 stars and that’s something I wanna write about… I’ve been here on multiple occasions. The foods really great and they usually have a friendly staff. Starting with the front of the house, the hostess(usually a teenage girl at her first ever job only here because her parents made her work) greets customer with a mellow-tone voice while finishing up a text on her cellphone(okay?). We’re taken to our seats by another host(maybe the manager/cashier) and seated. The waiter comes over right away, greets us with over-enthusiastic hand gestures(his name is Nico? I think) and takes our drink order. Most of my group ordered alcoholic beverages, so he asks the underaged guest if she«would like a michelada». Right. Okay. I’m not sure if he was joking or not. In between, there was a couple wanting to be seated outside in the patio as well, to which the hostess from earlier seated them in the same area. He stopped in the middle and said«the kids are pretty loud, but not as loud as yesterday.» to the other couple did not make a face nor had complained, or mentioned anything about them. The hostess said«I tried to warn them.» Now, I’m not a parent, but the comment still bothered me. The people I came with are parents are so were the people behind me where I was seated. If you’re in the patio area right next to the playground, you’re going to have to put up the kids. They stay out of the patio, and they mind to themselves. It shouldn’t be an issue. He asks us if we are ready to order, then looks around and realizes that we did not get menus. He apologized and returns 2 min later with them. Quickly after he takes the order, tries to take our menus back without having taken my order. I let him know, and he once again apologizes and takes my order. It’s not a very busy time and he does not have that many tables besides my own, so I don’t know why it’s been this complicated. Just clearing up that these series of events all happened before I got my food.

I have always loved this place. The food is always good and the service has never been less than amazing. The staff really wants my businesses and they go out of their way to show it

This place is so good. Now the service is okay. Nothing to rave about, but the food more than makes up for it! The chips were kinda stale; but the guacamole and salsa tasted fantastic!!! I got the el Gallo which had to be the«holy grail» of all fajitas! I mean. Mushrooms, onions, peppers, ribs, shrimp, bacon, chicken, rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo. & all for &16.99!!! Now you have to be a true fattie to appreciate this selection of bad food!!! I had more than enough to take home!!! Oh and the tortillas were homemade. Aside from the subpar service, the food was 10⁄10!

Neto Neto Neto! He was our server and a wonderful service at that! He had recommended a dish for us that was absolutely delicious and he even made sure the onions were grilled to my liking. We had ordered a burrito as well which was huge and made to our exact specifications. I’m fro m Chicago but when I visit Houston again I will for sure stop in.
