Parking is bad, service is pretty good and food is good but a little on the spicy side.

This was the 4th year in a row that we had our company Thanksgiving dinner. They are always great all the way, service, food and drinks are always top notch, our server Griselda was very accommodating!

Ugh… Parking here is the worst. I felt really bad that this place was dead on a Friday night. I remember back before Chama Gaucha was there it was more packed because of the open parking spaces. I think also the valet parking turns off a lot of potential customers because no one ever carries cash for tips. I think instead of having valet, you should have a parking lot attendant put cones in reserved Los Cucos spots and allow customers to park if they are eating there. However the food and the service are always top notch here; my drinks and salsa never went below halfway. I would just rather go to another Los Cucos to avoid parking and valet. I’d also not go to the memorial location because their salsa is very bland.

I was really in the mood for some good Mexican food. After listening to the commercials on 610 and having never gone to Los Cucos before,. I thought I would finally try it. Big, big, big mistake. The food was extremely bland tasting and overpriced for what it wise. The service was good. Parking is a real issue there you just about need to use the valet system. needless to say I will not be returning to Los Cucos. There are a lot better choices In Houston than this chain.

The parking for the restaurant is somewhat of a giant struggle due to the other restaurants that are in the lot as well. The inside is spacious and comfortable. They were not very busy when I went. The margarita was excellent and the chicken quesadillas were amazing! I would definitely recommend it. Staff was also very kind!

Happy hour and great food! They have so many flavored margaritas for the happy hour special and the patio is a really nice spot to go eat and have a good time!

Lots of options in Houston, but this is one of the best places for Fajitas and all types of Mexican food. Good service, good prices, nice atmosphere. Quality is always great and the portions are great. Really good chips and salsa’s too.

Very good green sauce on the enchilada. I had the Plato Bom Bom, which made me feel ridiculous to say. But the bacon-wrapped shrimp were good.

I visited this location on yesterday because of the margarita specials. Myself and my lunch date ordered margaritas. I ordered a frozen mango, and hers was on the rocks(regular). My drink tasted like shaved ice with mango drippings thrown in the class. My lunch date said her drink tasted like limeaid with no hint of tequila. When I told my waiter he basically told me I was crazy. He did not attempt to go see what was wrong with the machine or have a manager check it out. So needless to say I will never be back to this location. I left and went to the 290& Mangum location and my drink was perfect.

Great food, but the service is absolutely horrible. I don’t know who runs this place, but it’s obvious that they don’t give two $h!ts about their customers. Every time I go there, there is something that ticks me off. The last time I ate there, I got a to-go order. The first time I called, I got their voicemail. Then after they finally answered and took my order, they put me on hold to get my total, for 10 minutes! Then someone else picked up, had no idea what was going on, and had to look up my order to give me my total. Then, there is the nonexistent parking. The ENTIRE parking lot is coned off by the valets. I’ll be damned if I’m going to valet my car to pick up a to-go order. So, I have to park way down in the complex and walk over. It’s far enough down that if it’s raining, both you and your food are going to get soaked. Really aggravating. If the wasn’t so good… and it is really good food… I would never go back. Diners beware.

This is the best Los Cucos location I’ve been to. The quality of the locations varies greatly. I like coming here for the Tuesday happy hour. I get the margarita on the rocks and the stuffed avocado. The food is consistently good. I’ve always had good service here as well.

This is my default Mexican restaurant. I enjoy the food the ability to walk in on a Saturday or Friday during peek hour and get a set right away. The food is good the service is great. The happy hour is not logical because it stops when you think it should be at the peek. Other than that great restaurant and good customer service as well as very good food. O ya the parking during Friday and Saturday is a pain because it is valet. Valet parking is not cool particularly when this is not a high end restaurant

The ENTIRE parking lot is valet-only with orange cones everywhere. Every restaurant on this corner seems to be competing for parking. It was so crowded we drove away. This Los Cucos has lost our business.

Do you ever just have a margarita craving that just will not go away? I found myself in dire need of a good marg and ventured out to find one! In retrospect, I wish I had walked here because it’s super close to my casa! I’m soaking up al fresco dining as much as I can during this beautiful burst of cool weather. The perfect weather was accompanied by chips with two dips: salsa and a green/avocado sauce. I loved the warm salsa and hubs loved the green sauce. As we ate like vultures, the attentive waiters refilled our complimentary appetizers readily and frequently. I can’t say I loved my entrée. I ordered the tortilla soup and taco per Unilocal’s recommendations. It wasn’t bad, for sure, but I immediately wished I had gotten something else. However, as you can see, I still gave the joint 4 stars, so I definitely found several redeeming qualities. The other entrée we ordered was great. Sauteed veggies and seafood swimming in a cream sauce accompanied by rice, charro beans, and your typical taco accoutrements(pico, guacamole, lettuce, etc.) All of this paired with cocktails: my perfect margarita on the rocks with salt, my husband’s cactus margarita(meh), and topped off with the mariachi band playing and dancing to La Bamba requested by me(!) made for the perfect date night!

I absolutely love Los Cucos, but my experience here was far from pleasant. — the tables were pretty small so it wasn’t comfortable fitting all our large plates of food — waitress wasn’t attentive even when it wasn’t busy(had to ask to refill water) — the key reason why I gave this place 1 star is: there was a small COCKROACH running on the table when we were eating!!! We told the waitress and all she did was move us to a different table like it was normal. She didn’t even offer a free dessert or canceling our bill because we definitely lost our appetite by then. What’s worse is when we moved to the next table, there was another COCKROACH!!! Don’t come here… you don’t know what may have been crawling in your food.

I’ve been to this location before and really liked it, but I was not impressed today. I expected it to be really good, especially since it’s Cinco de Mayo but I can’t really say that it was. One of my pet peeves is blocking off the majority of the parking lot for«complimentary» valet. I got there right at 5 and was able to get a spot far away, but most of the spots were blocked off. I understand that Chama Gaucha is in the vicinity, but they had their own valet stand as well as Los Cucos. So that already put me in a bad mood. The Cinco de Mayo«specials» were not specials, they were a rip off. $ 5 house margarita. On the surface, it seems like a good deal. When you look at the Monday and Tuesday special on the menu, it’s a 10 oz. house marg for $ 1.99. Today it was a 6 oz house marg served in a plastic wine cup for $ 5. I understand if you’re going to mark up the price, but to serve a smaller drink for more money is absurb and ridiculous. The website also said that tacos al carbon would be part of the Cinco de Mayo special, but none of the food was. Maybe it was only for a certain location. The chicken fajita enchiladas were just okay. The queso was just okay. I did try a sip of my friend’s cactus margarita and wished I had just spent the extra $ 3 on that drink instead. Personally Lupe Tortilla’s food taste much better than Los Cucos. The server was nice and attentive which is the only reason they’re getting two stars from me. They had a band outside on the patio(KRBE was there too…) and a mariachi band inside which made it hard to hear across the table. Needless to say, I’m still not in a great mood about this experience and probably won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I went back to Los Cucos for lunch on Houston’s ice apocalypse day. ;). Robbe the waiter was very nice. I ordered spinach enchiladas. I have tasted better to tell you the truth. The inside was like creamed spinach and they were loaded with mushrooms and I don’t believe the menu said they contain mushrooms. I don’t like them and had to be picking them out. Other than that, big enchiladas with wheat tortillas, white rice and a healthy bean soup… Baked chips are a plus as you don’t get them in many restaurants for those health conscious people.
