They are good tacos de trompo. Thats all I have tried and what keeps me coming back. Only $ 1 each. Good salsa’s, street tacos. They are fast and provide good service.

This place isn’t bad. It’s a taco stand on the side of 249 and it gets packed. I always see a line forming when I drive by. I decided to try this place out and it wasn’t too bad. I ordered 2 tacos and put lots of onions and cilantro on top. It was very crispy. The pork was seasoned well and wasn’t dry. I could probably eat 5 by myself. They’re only $ 1 each. There are seats, but it gets filled quick because people bring their family. I just to go’d my tacos and ate it at home. The only thing is, the taco can be a bit dry overall. I don’t know if they have a sauce, but I would like it to have some spicy sauce drizzled in it.

There are at least 2 of these roadside stands on 249 between 45 and Beltway 8. This stand is located in front of Fiesta at the NE corner of W. Mount Hou. Rd.(249) and Veterans Memorial. It comes alive at night and you will see a line almost everytime you drive by. Good thing is the line moves pretty quickly. The trompo was nearly shaved completely off the time I stopped in, so I never saw the pineapple on top of the meat, but it’s there initially. Tacos are $ 1 at this location as well, and you can choose from either beef or trompo(pork). They also make quesadillas but I didn’t see anyone order them. You can have them add grilled onions to the top of your taco plate at no extra charge. They are grilling up cactus as well and chop them and place them on the tacos for an extra charge. Definitely a good stop for a late night hangover cure!
