Max and the guys did an outstanding job on the last two pair of shoes they worked on for me. The resole of my 5.10 Gambits was spot on, and the resole and new rand they did on my Mythos is the best I’ve had so far. To be brutally honest, I’m horribly picky about my shoes, and I’ve been pretty upset before after getting resoles and re-rands back from the very notable YB(if you resole you know the shop I mean). No complaints at all from this notoriously difficult to please climber. Do yourself a favor, if you are a Houston area climber take the time to visit with these guys and support their shop. REI is great, but you won’t get the heart and soul(and sole!) you will here. You will not be sorry. Kudos all around!

This is a good bunch of guys. They’re personable, love what they do, and will help you in any way they can. They do private classes at Texas Rock Gym, sell a lot of products not found at REI, and do great resole repair. Tell you the truth… I wasn’t very happy with their long past resoles of my climbing shoes. I decided to give them another try recently and it definitely seems they are getting experience under their belts. They look and perform awesome. Long live my comfy lax climb Mythos! Thanks Max! So give them a try if you haven’t yet. Get out and support the locals.

Whether you’re new to climbing or just sended your latest project, Lost Soles is definitely a must for all things climbing. Max is a familiar face at Texas Rock Gym and has been helping both new and old climbers alike sharpen and hone their technique on the wall. Lost Soles is my go to place for re-soling, the best way to breath new life into those shoes that you’ve grown to love and can’t imagine being without… that is until Max introduced me to my newest favorite pair of Stealth C4s by Five Ten. They also offer guided trips and and of course, the Gear Shop, where I met those awesome C4s. Lost Soles Climbing… good people — passionate about climbing, knowledgable about their products, and interested in both introducing others to the world of climbing in a fun, exciting way while not ignoring safety. If you haven’t stopped by Lost Soles to say hi to either Max or his partner, Dave, do yourself a favor and get over there!
