Now that I’m officially moved away from this place, I feel like I can review it honestly. We lived here for two years and though it was in a somewhat sketchy part of town, I don’t have a lot of complaints. It was what it was. This complex was not old and not new. When we moved in, everything looked fine, but as the months went on, little things kept popping up. Within weeks the carpet magically had spots appear. Within months much of the grout and sealant in our bathroom started to disappear. The good thing was that the rent was pretty reasonable(partly due to living OTL and partly due to the shady part of town), but it was much higher than most of the places around us because it was so much nicer. Right before we got married, I told my hubby to find a place in Houston that was gated and had a washer and dryer inside the unit. Since the place met my minimum requirements, and since it was close by the hubby’s original job, it worked out well for us. The one fabulous thing about this place was the management. They were always courteous, knew us by name immediately, took care of repairs promptly, and kept us safe and sound. While it wasn’t the best place to live, it was fine for the two years that we were there. If you’re looking for a place on the east side of town, you could do much worse.
