On the day of my closing and the day my homeowners policy became effective, I recieved an e-mail stating the policy did not get issued at the premium that was quoted. The new premium was an additional $ 661 per year because of a theft that occured in 2013. A theft that occured while covered by State Farm and Manny Molinar! How the indiviual working on my quote missed that is beyond me. Even more surprising is their lack of accountibility for the error. While being talked over on the phone by the office manager I was told they could not pay for the difference in the premium and their apology should be sufficient for the error. I will file a formal complaint with the NAIC and find a reputable insurance company and agent. The bright side is at least I know now how they treat their clients. It could save my a lot of anguish should I actually ever need the support of an agent or insurance company in time of need.

I have been meaning to write a review for awhile… Manny has been my agent for many years and he and his staff are absolutely outstanding. When I was in a bind and couldn’t get State Farm to help me with something specific on their main phone line, Manny contacted me(on his off day!!) and was able to get me the info I needed personally and was extremely friendly. Another time one of his staff went out of their way to contact the underwriters on my OLD policy so I could have the correct date that I purchased my car for my taxes(I donated my old car). I no longer live in Houston but I still keep Manny as my agent because he and his people have proven time and time again that they will go out of the way to keep their clients happy.

Prior to becoming insured with State Farm and Manny Molinar, I was an independent insurance agent. I know what good service is all about. Manny’s agency is the best! The ladies are knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I recently had a fender bender in a parking lot. They took my claim information and directed me to a great repair shop. They called numerous times to make sure everything was going okay. Low premiums are desirable, but you have to have confidence that your agent will take care of you when you need them — Mr. Molinar is a terrific agent who knows how to manage his shop!
