I’ve had the worst experience with this shop, its all a scam. they just want your money and don’t care about your vehicle. we were way over charged ! they ripped my carpet on my vehicle and it was done on purpose. They sent a tow truck to pick up my vehicle from my house which was not necessary since i was able to drive my vehicle. second i NEVER gave the authorization for them to work on it, i told them not to touch it because i didn’t want their service yet the very next day they started working on it just so i couldn’t take it out anymore. They replaced parts that didn’t need to be replaced, They «washed» my carpet which was a lie it was still dirty and on top of that they ripped it, it looks like someone got a knife and cut a straight line just to get more money from my insurance then the lady wants to act all offended saying we are accusing them of ripping it, they kept saying my carpet was already ripped when it arrived there which was NOT ! We just wanted to get our vehicle out of there so we went to pay them and they decided to charge us an extra 1000 just because we were arguing with them about my carpet, she was just acting all offended but yet she can be rude to us ?? in that case let me charge her 1000 for being rude to me and accusing me of lying. My carpet was not ripped before it left my house. This shop is just a rip off !!!

This was my first time having to deal with body work to my car. Manriquez walked me through everything that I needed to do with the insurance to get my damage taken care of. Once I sent my my car to the shop they updated me on the work being performed until I picked it up. Very easy to work with. Anytime I need body work completed I will be going to manriquez!

The best body work I’ve ever experienced! Attention to detail is the key to their success in collision field. I recommend this center for all your collision needs. I would highly suggest this place. They have great customer service and great work ethic. If you’re filing an insurance claim, they’ll deal with the insurance to make sure the job is done right and not just go with the estimate sent over by the insurance company. If I ever need collision repair again, I will definitely go back to Manriquez.

I am absolutely impressed with not only the work that was done on my vehicle but also with the impeccable customer service here. For starters I did not have a reservation to bring my vehicle in I just showed up (not knowing you needed one) however they were so accommodating and told me no worries we will work you in. David and Sylvia went over and beyond for me. I am a first time car owner and did not quite understand all the ins and outs when it came to dealing with my insurance company in regards to repairs on my damaged vehicle, however Sylvia helped walk me through all the paper work as well as going to the extent of even giving me copies of documents I would need and an envelope and stamp to mail in my report. She even helped set up my rental! David made sure that my insurance company understood the severity of my damages and discussed on the phone for me what issues he saw and thought needed to be fixed, he made sure they knew I needed to be in a rental that day! With all of the flooding that has recently happened in Houston the insurance company was behind in sending out individuals for estimates, I was told that I’d have to wait about a week and half before someone would be out. David informed me not to worry about that I could leave my vehicle there at the shop and he’d make sure they’d come by within the next week. That’s exactly what happened! My estimate was done within the next couple of days, as soon as it was Sylvia emailed me and kept me up to date through all of the repairs. I live all the way in League City, and even if I lived further I would drive time and time again back here to have any and all work done on my vehicle. It’s one thing to have a mechanic/​body shop that is good at what they do but it puts a company in a whole other ball park when their customer service is just as great!

I had a minor fender-​bender, and just wanted to make sure it was JUST cosmetic damage. I called and Rena made sure someone would still be there (I was trying to come in at the end of the day).
The tech showed me the damage: bracket was slightly bent and there was a hairline fracture on the top of my wiper fluid tank. I said I didn’t want to fix it – and they didn’t push it. They did pop my bent-​in bumper (just bent in on the front corner) and button it back up for ~$ 40. I think this was pretty fair considering I couldn’t do it myself (no tools, no muscle for bending bumper back out) and I see similar prices for other quick fixes on here (e.g., Nicole C paid $ 40 for buffing a spot).
Rena was super helpful and friendly, staff was meh (they seemed normal but I don’t speak Spanish so I had a hard time figuring out attitude/​professionalism in the garage), and the owner was really friendly and respectful.

Solid work and decent prices, but they should perhaps work on their scheduling and time estimates. Waiting nearly three weeks for a 4-​day job is not cool — at least there is an offer for loaner cars.

My truck was involved in a collision and Manriquez got it looking new again for a great price! I was quoted a price before they started tearing down my truck and when I came to pick it up, they honored their original quote even though the pinstriping ended up being more than accounted for. They did excellent work and Rena did an excellent job taking care of me and keeping me informed. David is a good guy and a man of his word! Thanks guys!

If I could give this place no stars I would. Don’t let women run a mechanic shop. I got quoted one price and it turn out to be much higher because they couldn’t fix it. Got there my tire wasn’t there and the brunette couldn’t find my car keys. I had to drive to another location to get my tire myself! I was recommend by a friend, this place is a joke and sketchy.

The guys at Manriquez do great work and also make sure you don’t get screwed by the claims adjusters. Rena in the office is also great at keeping you informed.

I came to Manriquez needing an area buffed after I crunched my car on the side of the garage (sigh). He’s super friendly and personable, immediately someone I can trust. A short look in the back told me that I’m not the only one — a Lambo and a Maserati were back there too, along with a well-​restored Alfa. His baby? Maybe.
I dropped my car off at 10am on Saturday morning, and he was done within an hour for $ 40. The spot actually looked SO good after he was done that I asked for a rec to get a buff job on the whole car so I wouldn’t have just one shiny spot. At some point I might come back to have him do some paint repair work on various scratches (not my fault…).
He’s got a nice wait area set up in the office with A/​C, tv, and wifi if you want to stay, or there are a few places within walking distance to chill. Credit card is accepted.
The guy works super hard and the shop been established here since 1947, so I imagine it’s an old family business.

I came into Manriquez after an incident that shall not be discussed and for which I officially disclaim all liability, but which left me with some significant damage to the passenger side of my car. I got a very detailed estimate right away and an explanation of what needed to be done (this my first time taking a car to a body shop, so that was helpful). I brought my car in the following week once the part Manriquez ordered was in. It took a couple of days longer than they estimated, but the work was fantastic. They were able to save the passenger door and quarter panel, despite some pretty hefty damage, and now you can’t tell that anything ever happened. Best of all, they charged me exactly what their estimate quoted: no surprises. So glad to have my car back to its pretty condition!

I found this place while looking for a local body shop after an incident involving a valet driver at a restaurant but that’s another story. I pulled up to get a quote and the shop owner, David met me out front an I had a quote and detailed explanation of the work in 15 minutes. I dropped the car off the following Tuesday and had the car back Friday, just as promised. The car looks great and was completed per the estimate. Hopefully I don’t need these services in the future but in case I do, I’ll be back.

I won’t take my car anywhere else. They were extremely helpful in telling me what had to be done for insurance to cover my hit and run. They worked with me with any questions I had and Rena is awesome!!! Highly recommend

I have come into Manriquez twice, both times for minor scratches on my Mercedes. The first time, it was closing time but they fixed up my scratches… for free! The second experience was just as pleasant. They are honest, fast, and generous… a true family business. I will always bring my cars here for body repairs.

My family has been going to Manriquez for years, excellent workmanship at reasonable prices, outstanding customer service.

I will never take my cars anywhere else! I was in a very minor accident on Sept 1, 13. My first time getting rear-​ended. Manriquez fixed my car up right. In fact, they even fought the insurance company to do so. The insurance company was pressuring them to simply fix all of the crushed body parts of my car, & the body crew knew that wouldn’t actually get my jeep back to 100%. They could’ve just did what the other driver’s insurance company wanted, but instead they cared enough to put in extra effort to make sure they I was happy and that my car was perfect. They stressed to me that they work for me, not the insurance company. I will recommend this to place anyone! If you want a body shop that is on your side, and willing to do whatever it takes to fix your vehicle correctly, then come here! The people are nice, and they really do care.

Can’t say enough good things about the team at Manriquez. My rear bumper and back panel of my BMW X3 were damaged pretty badly, but the guys at the body shop did an outstanding job fixing it. The car looks brand new! The service and staff are first rate and are constantly updating you on the progress of your vehicle. They worked fluidly with my insurance and I expereinced no problems through out the process. You can tell they really are passionate about their work, which is a rare trait these days. I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking to get some work done.

They do a great job and are very detailed and fast. Excellent service and honest prices.

I was in a small fender bender on March 1^st. Right when I walked in the door at Manriquez body shop I felt like I had known them for years. One of the workers was giving me the history of the shop, and these guys have been doing it for a long time. they know what they are doing. I received my car back in a little over a week and its like brand new, I’ve had body work done in the past and was without my car for months on end! Hopefully I never need a body shop again, but if I do this is where I’m going. If I hear of someone who needs a body shop, there is no other place I would take my car hands down!
