This Marble Slab is on the bottom floor of the Edwards theater — right by the ticket booths. Your regular Marble Slab, but they only have three tables. Hard to find a seat! Service was nice, and it’s convenient to be able to grab an ice cream before or after a movie. You cannot take the ice cream into the theater however!

Not all Marble Slabs are created equal. This one inside the Edwards cinema is disappointing.
It was a busy Saturday night at the movies and no one was visibly working. I stood at the counter for several minutes before a heavyset middle aged Hispanic man came out from the back to take my order. It was clear he didn’t want to work and I had interrupted him from something. The guy had a poor attitude. I ordered what I order at every marble slab: small sweet cream and butter pecan mixed. He told me, «you can’t get two flavors with a small.» I responded with, «this is the same thing I get at every Marble Slab.» He said, «this location is different.»
Different? Or Mr. Don’t Bother Me was lazy and didn’t want to mix in another flavor? While I was waiting, another customer asked for a napkin. He said, «napkins are for customers only.» What? How did he know she wasn’t about to buy something? She walked away annoyed. I say she was smart.
Walk away from this Marble Slab. If I were the owner I would fire the guy I had to deal with. That’s the type of poor service that causes businesses to lose customers. What a shame since they are in a prime location. Will not return.

Located right next to the movie theater’s ticket booth, Marble Slab is an excellent spot to grab a quick frozen deliciousness before a movie! Like any other Marble Slab shops, you can expect the same high-​quality ice cream in a generous selection of various flavors of both traditional and unconventional. What really captured my heart though was the FREE toppings including Reeses pieces and pecan that you can mix in your ice cream!
Sadly you can’t bring your ice cream in the theater (at least openly), but hey, that shouldn’t stop you from treating yourself in this awesome ice cream place!
