On the outside it says Xelapan bakery but it is a wrong signage that is being replaced.
Mostly a Mexican bakery. They also have Chilean alfajores. And a few other things that are Chilean but of the same character — dulce de leche and merengue based sweets. But to be honest, I wouldn’t come for the pastries.
They do also sell Chilean-​style beef empanadas and I think that would be the star here. But you will have to call in advance to see if they have them or not. When I visited on Monday, they said they would have it on Thursday.
I’ll probably upgrade this review once I try the empanadas — which I actually them being really good.
