I hate giving bad reviews… But I was disappointed. The tabouli wasn’t fresh(I could tell by looking before I even ate it). The pita was tough, as was the lamb. The dolmas tasted like the kind I’ve had out of a can, and it fell apart when I picked it up. Now, the tzatziki sauce was good and the mini spinach and feta spanakopita was awesome! But that was really all I enjoyed.

Awesome place, really a hidden gem! Food is unmatched and management is the nicest. Definitely will come here as much as I can. Also, the atmosphere is so welcoming and everyone gets along like family, does not feel like a business! Get the Mediterranean meat platter can’t go wrong and the Chocolate tart.

This place is authentic med food. Great local choice with an outstanding food selection in an area saturated by chains and mediocre touristy restaurants. The décor is a little outdated and the tables are wobbly, but these minor flaws give it character, as do the employees(great people).

Great restaurant. Have been here three times and food, atmosphere, staff, and wine have always been superb. Nice small romantic place to take wife or date if your looking for quiet and intimate dining.

Ugh but this place is so charming! It feels like I am in a little mediterranean shop but the service and food is where this place fails. Our waitress was absolutely terrible, as if we were doing her a giant disservice by eating there. Asked for a side of sauce as the wraps are usually dry… she said she won’t bring it until we try the wraps first, then charged for extra sauce. The food is just OK. Looks are deceiving, won’t be eating here again.

Excellent place! excellent food! Excellent service! I am from Spain and I really felt home again! The place it’s beautiful ! The food is delicious, fresh ! The last time I tried a Tiramisu like that was in Europe! I travel a lot and I never tried a tiramisu like that in America. I will definitely come back to this amazing place!

The rice, alone, is reason to eat here! I had the Herb Crusted Salmon, and I feel sorry for any salmon that I will eat from this point on, because it will only be judged by this standard.

Visited houston for business and made the trip out there, and it was well worth it! Calamari appetizer was great and the Lasagna was also great. The service was great and the food came out fast, which is always a plus. Judging by the whose who on the wall, it seems like quite a few famous folk have also stopped by!

Not a fan. I’ve been twice now. The first time I ordered the gyro and dine hummus just to play it safe. The gyro had the most undesirable flavor and the hummus was like water. I went again for a work meeting. I can’t remember what my dish was called but it was basically a steak kabob. The meat was so tough I couldn’t get it off the stick. Service is sub par.

Best Mediterranean food in area hands down. If you like anything more then you just don’t know good Mediterranean food. Simple as that.

My office is across the street, so it’s my most convenient AND favorite meal I can find during the week. I come here at least once a week for the gyro meat. I typically get the Nicoise Salade that I sub gyro meat for the tuna… And it can’t be beat. It’s one delicious loaded salad. And the waitresses and waiters are the nicest-they always remember my family and I when we come and our orders. Highly recommended for a delicious Greek meal!

I just can’t have a GREAT experience here. Just got back home from eating lunch here with my husband and brother in law. Decided to sit outside to enjoy the cool weather. Ordered a bottle soda. In the past, their fountain drinks just tasted off, so I stick to the bottles. I received one bottle and noticed the date was June 2014. Tried it anyway and NO. Very flat. I told the waitress and she brought me another bottle with the same date. Really? She stood there so I opened the bottle and tried again. Once again, very flat! I told her I’d just like a bottled water. So she left. Came back WITHOUT the water and took our order. After 20 minutes, my brother in law got up and asked a different waitress for a bottled water. That waitress brought it right out. Another 10 minutes went by and we got our lunch. LUNCH. That was about 35 minutes. I’ve been here several times and the service has been okay. I’m really hoping that today was just an off day. My lamb kabob was cooked pretty well done and almost too chard to eat. Not crazy about that at all. But I was on my lunch break so I just dealt with it. My brother in law asked for no onions on his salad and there were onions. I’m not giving this place 2 stars because of today’s experience. The food is ONLY okay and I’ve definitely had better Mediterranean.

Ordered this an had it delivered by(Space City Takeout). So disappointed, first off, ordered the vegetable plate(see photo below) it came on its side so the whole thing was a complete mess, everything taste like hummus, because hummus covered almost everything. I’m inclined to blame the restaurant for this mess rather than the delivery service. Here’s why, we had several single serve containers(also see photos below) along with the full serving box of the vegetable plate. The single serve containers where packed in the bottom of the bag with the full serve box on top. So guess what happened? Yeah, you guessed it, the big box slipped right off the small boxes and ended up on its side. The only thing I can tell you about the taste of the items on this veggie plate is that everything tasted like mediocre hummus. Gyro was really just ok. I’ve had so much better. The gyro was more of a wrap, it was rolled up like a burrito, flat tortilla like thing rather than pita bread. The potatoes that come with it tasted old, like a few days old. Feta and tomato salad another disappointment. Tomato slices where so thin, like paper thin, feta was fine but the seasoning on it had no taste whatsoever. Pita was dry and stale. Greek salad was nothing special, but better than the other stuff. Don’t believe we’ll be ordering from this place again.

My husband and I come here after the farmers market every Saturday. This place is a gem. Food is always good and the owner is wonderful. The espresso is good. The dolmas are wonderful. Come here for a nice casual meal.

My husband and I stumbled across this little place the other night. We were both craving soup and I searched using Google and found a number for them. We ordered the tomato basil soup and the minestrone. Both soups were very good, but the tomato was the best I’ve ever had. They were very inexpensive as well, which delighted us. This place is tucked away and you won’t find it if you don’t know where to look. We will definitely be going back!

I extremely enjoy the food from this establishment. We dined this past Saturday and was not disappointed. I tried the osso busco which was very tender and tasteful. Also they have live music and a belly dancer on Saturdays.

Love this place. The atmosphere is fun, the food is great and the service good. When you step in, you’re almost overwhelmed with everything there is to see. There are different sections to eat at and my favorite is the space section. Everything I’ve tried has taseted excellent. It comes out fresh and tasty every time. I eat here almost time I’m down here.

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. This restaurant introduced me to my first experience with and undying love for grape leaves, baba ganouj, kafta, paella.. . The list goes on! The owner, Magdy is always there and is very sweet. He’s not afraid to jump in if you need a refill on a busy night. They have so many different Mediterranean options on this menu,(Italian, Spanish, Greek.. .) and they are all executed really well. I almost always order a veggie plate, as it has all of the delicious things I need on one plate. I love coming here with BF because we order it as an appetizer and get something big and meaty to share as an entrée. The mezze is awesome too if you prefer to pick and choose. *TRYTHEGRILLEDHALOUMICHEESE! I’m a big fan of samplers, and the ones here are great. The tiramisu is stupid good. It really shouldn’t be allowed. One of the waitresses told me(many, MANY moons ago) that they make it in house(they=waitresses) and she gave me the recipe. I have never been able to recreate it to it’s full delicious mascarpone cocoa fantastical glory, so I’ll just keep coming back here for it. The market is fun and awesome, with some rare finds and strange items to peruse. The live entertainment is.. . well, entertaining. The only thing I would change about this is make it self-serve because the service can be really hit or miss, but I will forever come back here for the food.

A friend and I dropped by for lunch today, and the place looks really cute with the décor both from the outside and when we stepped in. Service is slightly slow, but the waitresses were courteous. We both ordered lunch specials– For me, a gyros pita wrap($ 4.99), and for my friend, the soulvaki pita wrap($ 5.99). They came out wrapped in aluminum foil, tightly rolled into, quite literally, a wrap: P I’m used to the soft, fluffy pita breads folded in the middle, cradling the gyros meat and yummy vegetables, so the thinner, not-so-chewy pita was a surprise and slight disappointment to me. The gyros meat was good, but not super amazing ^^” My friend thought both of our lunches were kind of small, but U think they were enough to satisfy for the price~ Instead of paying at your table, pay at the cash register near the back. The restaurant was half full with patrons during lunch hours. There’s a selection of Greek cooking spices, foodstuffs, and European candies that was fun to browse through near the back of the restaurant, and there is a pastry section with baklava and deli counter too: D I probably won’t return for the gyros, but the menu offers a lot of other options I might try in the future! *Update*: If you buy things from their market, you should probably check the expiration date. I just realized the Toblerone chocolate bar I bought was 1 year past its due date(still tasted good though: P), eek!
