Went in about a year or two ago, don’t really like dentists but Dr. Messkoub was very pleasant and to the point. Wish all my dental experiences were like that.

Had a root canal done today by Dr. Messkoub and all went well. She was very knowledgeable and professional, and got straight to the point. Don’t go in there thinking you are meeting with a shrink. $ 198.00 with MetLife

I had the misfortune of running into«Dr.» Messkoub while I lived in Houston. To say that my experience with her was traumatizing is not an overstatement. She retreated a root canal after an x-ray at my DDS showed an abscess at the end of the root that had already been drilled a couple years earlier. The toothache hurt like hell, and I was cringing slightly as Messkoub shoved the drill up there. She was visibly irritated that I was experiencing pain, gradually losing her patience and screaming in my face, which was full of instruments: «WHYAREYOUTENSINGUP!!! YOUCANNOTFEELPAIN! THEYALREADYREMOVEDTHENERVE!!!» I responded that it did hurt, and indeed it did: my jaw was swollen and had been infected for at least a week before I arrived in her office that day. Even chewing with the tender tooth was excrutiating, let alone having someone drill, poke, and prod. She continued to yell at me every time I cringed. To make a long story short, she topped her abusive treatment off by, after shoving a hot poker in the tooth that caused smoke to billow out of my mouth(is that even legal? ever heard of this?), BLOWINGINTOMYMOUTHWITHHERLIPSSOCLOSETHATSHECOULDHAVEKISSEDME, evidently to cool whatever part of my mouth she was barbecuing. That was more than poor hygiene; this is nothing short of malpractice, people. This woman has low standards of cleanliness and even lower standards of empathy.
