This is a very small branch library, as it originally opened in 1961. And it shows… The library is L shaped, as once you walk it you can see the end of both walls. There are only a few internet PCs available, as there are shared tables on the left for general reading. There is a small section for periodicals, as one man took the opportunity to steal a nap and loudly snore. There is a kids section on the right, although it is very small. The bathrooms are hidden on the right side of the wall. The only reason I came here was that the Stella Link branch is still under remodel and I didn’t feel like paying $ 5 for a drink in a café. If you do live around here, you can always reserve a book and have it shipped here if it’s not on the shelves. That’s one of the best features of the Houston Library system!
