Mikka Arrington Salon

I am pretty flexible when it comes to color & style. But there’s been a style I’ve wanted to try that no other hair stylist has been able to achieve… Until now!
Just moved to the area, already tried out one salon. Didn’t HATE the first salon, but knew it probably wasn’t for me. Once I find a stylist, I stick with them. So after reading reviews chose Mikka. Fingers crossed.
First, I loved the shop concept. It was not like anything I had ever seen. Loved the privacy and welcoming quality.
Mikka was lovely to chat with. I love my «chair time». Getting my hair done is my guilty pleasure. When I’m in the chair for 2 – 3 hours doing something new with my do’ I love it when my stylist is fun, easy to talk with, and likes to engage in conversation. Mikka was funny, & made the time fly by!
I brought her a picture of what I wanted to achieve, understanding that to get there would be a gradual process to keep my hair healthy. She explained every step she was doing, why she was doing it, and what the outcome would be. I’m pretty hair savvy as to the how’s & why’s things need to be done especially when going red, but Mikka made sure she explained every step of the process.
My last hair cut and color made my 45+ aged hair look dull, thin & flat. After Mikka worked her magic with color and a shape up, my hair looks vibrant, full, and luxurious! Even my husband loved it… and that’s pretty impressive. I have found my new stylist and look forward to a long term «chair time» relationship. This is without a doubt the best color/​highlights I’ve ever had! (It was late in the day and very rainy outside, so we just tousled my natural waves instead of straightening it. But after living with my new do for a few days and styling it myself, I’m certain now that this is the best my hair has ever looked!) My goal is to grow out my natural brown color but keep a few accent highlights around my face to brighten it up– Mikka gave me exactly that! I had a brassy light brown color with dark roots, and she seamlessly blended in a darker brown and added soft, subtle highlights to frame my face. This color looks so natural on me and there is no chemical damage (which I am prone to getting). I’ll never go to another stylist again. Awesome trim too! I love the long bangs. To top it off, she’s a lovely person who’s very easy to chat with. I enjoyed my entire experience!

Mikka cut my daughter’s hair and did a great job — my daughter loved it. We went back the day of prom and Mikka worked her magic. My daughter has a ton of hair, and most people have a very hard time with it. Mikka spent a lot of time making it look just perfect. She had the prettiest hair at prom. She told me everyone said she had Hollywood hair!

Mikka is an amazing stylist who I have followed for years. My cut, color and style are always perfect. All my friends and coworkers know when I’ve been to see her because I can’t get my hair anywhere close to as straight as she can.
For reference, my hair is super long (almost to my waist) and curly. Any time I’ve wanted to try a slightly new cut, she is always on board and its always perfect.
Try her once, you may never let anyone else touch your hair again!
