Miller’s has the best burgers in the Clear Lake Area. l tried all the new burger place and they don’t hold a candle to a Miller burger always served hot of the grill and fresh cut fries. The service is the best. You will always see at least one or more of the Miller family member there and the cooks have been there for as long as I’ve been dining there which is about 20plus years.

Heard Miller’s Café had good burgers, so we thought we’d give it a try. The order was up in 10 minutes. After that we were completely disappointed. The burgers were bland(better flavor profile at Burger King). Worse than that, both burgers, fries, and onion rings were so disgustingly soggy. They fell apart in our hands after trying them and we ended up going somewhere else. It was both my son and my birthday. What a bad choice and also a shame. Never going back and never recommending. Sorry, but. .yuck.

We love this place! Good burgers and great fries. The portions are good sized and they’re always quick. Their menu is impressive too; tons of burgers to choose from!

One of the best burgers I have ever had! Ice cold beer too! Prices are great. Staff is nice & actually act like they want your business.

Food is average I haven’t been here in a few years. They still have the same staff which seem like they have gotten a bit too comfortable. I went around 6 or so they seemed annoyed I was there and for the prices they charge for a burger and fries the food was underwhelming. I’m disappointed probably not ever coming back here.

Local dive. Good burgers. Fast and friendly. Pepsi products, I’m not a fan. But otherwise good. Always hot and fresh. Onion rings are worth a try.(Get the burgers Easy mustard, unless you REALLY like mustard). Plenty of seating for larger groups but sometimes it’s busy. I think it’s great that they are open Sunday’s now.

Amazing burgers. Seriously the best, and I know my burgers. Never got our orders wrong a single time! We usually go with the bacon cheeseburgers, and I must say the bacon is amazing. Perfection. I also love their French fries because they are perfectly fried every single time. They also have perfectly balanced sweet tea. We usually visit miller’s 1 – 2 a month & will continue to do so.

Stopped in after hearing great things from the locals — the food lived up to the hype! I had the mushroom burger and it was delicious and too big for me to finish. My husband had the blue cheese burger and it was delicious too. Would have been 5 stars, but they forgot to add bacon to his burger and the onion rings tasted a little like they had been frozen. On the other hand, the sweet potato fries were amazing and it was a great experience over all. Nice casual atmosphere and the restaurant was very clean for as busy as it was. We had a great visit, but next time we will share a burger and only get one side! Lots of food for a good price and the burgers really are just fabulous! Great flavor — well cooked and I could not have been happier with the burgers(even without the bacon!).

It was National Burger Day so we Unilocaled a good burger place. Miller’s is close to our work so we went around 11:15am. Line was out the door. We debated leaving, but we stuck it out. It was National Burger Day after all. The line moved relatively fast. It was strange there was only one order taker behind the counter on such an important national holiday. Others might think its weird, but I liked the fact she was just writing our order on one of those old-school receipt pads. She tore off the number from the bottom and handed it to us. A food runner would shout your number and then bring your food to the table. Don’t forget to pick up your napkins and utensils before you sit down or you’ll be getting up again to go get some. I ordered the jalapeño burger and it was DELICIOUS. I love spicy and this thing has tons of jalapenos! I knew the buns would have poppy seeds, but I wanted to try it out instead of requesting a wheat bun first. I had poppy seeds EVERYWHERE when i was done. They were all over the table, my lap, my shirt, my hair and probably even my teeth, but it was still wonderful. Lets just hope I don’t have a drug test anytime soon!

I’ve honestly passed this place so many times and have never even looked at it, but then a few friends were like hey let’s go to millers and so I was like sure why not I’ll try it and then they took me there and I still asked where it is because I expected something bigger and better! So we walked in and I was like I’m not sure how I feel about this place, but then I ordered a drink and a jalapeño burger for 9ish dollars and I kind of thought it was a bit overprice, but needless to say it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time! It was super juicy and I would definitely go back! I do recommend that the business would invest in better advertising so that when driving by you notice it because honestly that was such a nice little hole in the wall!

This is a traditional Texas burger joint: Beer signs, chalkboard menu, burgers cooked on the flattop. Has been in Clear Lake forever, they stick with what they know how to do. I had the mushroom Swiss burger. Burger was good but not great, juicy and tasty, good sized, with a bun that stood up to the juice. Onions rings were a frozen variety, but crisp and tasted like the oil was fresh. A good choice for this area — not a boring national chain — but not a match for Tookie’s or Stomp’s.

I was very happy that they had vegetarian options. But that is where my happiness ends. There is no description by the burgers and the menu at the restaurant is incredibly hard to read. It is such a mess. Luckily they have paper menus but there ins’t much info on there. The veggie sandwich does not have a description next to it. I ordered it hoping to get a bunch of grilled vegetables on a bun. I also said no mayo and it even said no mayo on my ticket. I guess the guy making the sandwich can’t read. Also I was horribly disappointed in the sandwich. In case you don’t know, mushrooms are not a vegetable and I absolutely hate it when people put them between two slices of bread and call it a veggie sandwich. I am probably the weirdest vegetarian because I can not stand mushrooms. However when I go to any other restaurant that has a veggie sandwich I get vegetables on a sandwich. It should be called the Mushroom Sandwich because that actually fits the description. You get a hamburger bun, with a slice of lettuce on it, a giant scoop of mayo, a scoop of guac, and a ton of grilled mushrooms. That is all that is on the burger. There should be tomatoes, peppers, a lot of lettuce, cucumber, carrots, etc. Anything that is actually a vegetable should be on this sandwich but that is not the case. I do not recommend this place.

I’ve been here a couple times in the last year and always enjoy myself. Service is totally unfriendly, but if you can endure that the food tastes good and the portions are a great size for the price. I also really like the options with sides, bun style, etc… I always go for the poppy seed bun and those crispy sweet potato fries. I’ve had better burgers, but this is a step up from any fast food joint I can think of and at similar prices.

I’m surprised by some of the criticism of Miller’s Café. I know the lady at the register is a little taciturn but she’s not rude. She’s always taken care of us. I guess. .. if you need your ego stroked, go to a different kind of establishment? If you need pieces of flair, go to Chotchkie’s. And I’ve never had a problem with the prices. Maybe people are comparing it to fast food. Admittedly, I’m a sucker for a restaurant with a good turkey burger so I may be biased because there really isn’t another one I know of unless you go all the way to Tookie’s. My husband loves the cheeseburgers and chili burgers. They’ve got great fries — sweet potato or regular. Decent selection of beers. Really, what’s to complain about?

I would say a pretty good burger in the area. Prices were reasonable compared to five guys burgers.

Pros: food came out quick, options for whole wheat bun instead of just white flour, and the portions were big. Cons: not a super friendly atmosphere… workers were polite, but I walked in and wasn’t greeted and just looked at until I said«hi». Even though the portions were big and there was a lot on my burger, it wasn’t big on flavor… basically just a lot of different ingredients put together. I wouldnt go here again. Not bad, but not great.

We’ve eaten a burger here once a week for years. In our opinion Stomps and then this place have the best burgers in the area, but Stomps is too far away for routine eating. Tastes are all different but I don’t like their chili, so I don’t get their Frito Pie which I love or their hotdog. ___ We’ve Eaten Out Every Meal for 25 years

Hmm. I’ve heard about this place a lot and was hoping to be amazed. But after having been to Stomp’s recently, I guess I’m a little hard to please right now when I want a good burger. I came here during weekday lunch and it was quite busy the whole time, so it looks like it still has quite a following. I got the grilled onion burger and while it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t amazing either. The beef patty was a little bland and really really greasy, with juice consistently dripping down the table and my fingers until I got through most of of the burger. The poppy seed bun fell a little flat as well and didn’t really add much to the burger. The fries and the onion rings were decent, and that was about it.
