Mint Condition Hair Studio

This was my first time to Mint Condition and I didn’t quite know what to expect because it is located inside of a multi-​purpose office building. It’s not the most stylish facility but it is abuzz with activity. Mint Condition is a unisex salon catering to ladies, gents, and kids, too. On this visit, there were two extremely busy barbers and three female beauticians. Two of the beauticians did traditional hair styles and one was busy doing purely locks and dreads. She was booked too!
The employees were pleasant and maintained a professional demeanor. I was so pleased that conversations were held at a normal volume and there was no loud talking, laughing, or obnoxious gossip either. Yay!!! I personally enjoyed the good music that was played in the salon. A mixed set of classic R&B was on this day. Soooo relaxing.
Lisa was my stylist and she was G-​O-​O-​D. She knows her stuff. I had a feeling I would like her when I saw her hair. It was fly… black with dark purple highlights. I personally like seeing hair stylists whose hair reflects their craft. She is comfortable discussing products, color and hair health. I felt confident in her chair which is not typical of my hair-​going experiences lately. She is a wiz at color too. So, if you are thinking about a new look, give her a try. I think you’ll be pleased. I certainly left happy.
