This review is based on the driving range. Let me just state I am new to golf so this is a review based off that. This range is perfect for what I need lots of practice. They have different size baskets that you can buy averaging from 50 to 200 balls. Inside they sell a small variety of clubs, accessories, and some snacks /drinks. If you don’t have a club they have some loaners for free. I’ve come back several times and it’s always been a fun experience.

The only lite up par 3 course left in Houston, and it’s bad! This is going to be a all negative review, especially since I had high hopes for this place. First, this place is hard to find. The sign for the parking lot says Gun Store, and in small faded print below it says Golf something. Second, Tee box’s here are terrible. There is no effort to even make it acceptable. Worse than the worst driving ranges. Some have grass, some has sand, and some just dirt. The only consistency is that it’s all uneven. Third, the greens are terrible. They received the same care as a public schools play ground. Full of gauges and weeds, prob maintained by the same guy that works on the Tee box. This reminds me of one of those par 3 courses in a mobile home retirement community. It works if you are looking for an ultra cheap way to waste some time, but don’t call it golf.

In regards to the rain check, before I purchased 9 Holes with cart and a bucket of ball. I asked the pro shop if it was going to rain he said it shouldn’t be that bad and we would be able to play. Before we could even walk to our cart the rain came down. Instead of refunding me he gave me a rain check with a one month expiration date. Wasn’t able to make up to the course before it expired because of all the heavy rain Houston had and they would t honor the rain check. Pretty much told me i was SOL. Probably won’t ever take anyone back to this course ever again. Thought it would be a great place to take new golfers.

Nice little golf course. Hole one is tricky… water to the left and driving range to the right. Great for a quick family outing.

This is a very nice little golf course and driving range. The driving range is pretty standard. The golf course is a 9-hole par 3 course, but has water hazards, and some challenging holes. It is a great place to learn to play if you are a beginner, or practice your short game if you are an experienced player. It’s agreat play to bring the whole family!
