15 min before close, all the food is put up and I couldnt even get a cold sandwich. Awesome.

Where the hamburger I’ve been eating there? Not on the online menu so I will have to wait. Maybe I’ll sit and eat there… the rest of the food so far has not really been visually appealing enough to try yet. It’s just a sandwich… IKR?

Located on the bottom/basement level of the 11 Greenway Plaza building, Murphy’s Deli isn’t my top choice, but they are a nice last-minute option for patrons and employees. They seem to be doing pretty well, too, judging by the amount of foot traffic that comes through. Upon entering, there’s a Starbucks kiosk on the left. The young lady who works the counter is friendly and very knowledgeable about the Starbucks menu(they are not an official franchise). They aren’t able to accept Starbucks cards so if you’re an avid drinker like myself, you’ll have to go to a real location to get your stars. There’s a small convenience store on the left that sells everything from snacks to Krazy Glue to lottery tickets.(What a way to maximize the laws of convenience and proximity)! In the back, is the kitchen/deli area. They serve breakfast early. By 10:30/11 a.m., they are already preparing for lunch. There are some affordable breakfast options — paninis, tacos or quesadillas filled with your choice of eggs, cheese, potatoes, bacon or ham. Prices range from $ 2.50 to $ 5 before tax. For lunch, they offer salads, sandwiches/wraps, burgers made-to-order(pretty much along the lines of the other businesses in the area with comparable prices). There’s a small hot food section near the register that offers changing items: enchiladas, rotisserie chicken, pork chops, different soups, etc. The guy who runs this place is pretty friendly, as well as the staff. They are always smiling and greeting people as they come in. Though I’m not ‘wowed’ by their menu, having good customer service means your business is appreciated, so I always leave them open as an option.
