Amazing service and food. We came for a party of 8 and had like the hot pot and five other dishes. Very flavorful and savory. The hotpot was amazing, with beef, squids, clams, oysters, shrimps and enoki mushrooms. Very satisfying. We also had bo luc lac which came in a decent size. We had a total of six entrees but I only know the names of two of te entrees. The food and service deserves a 5 star no doubt but the Thai tea here is not good. It tasted like sugar and cereal so that is the only con regarding this place. That’s why it’s getting 4 stars out of 5!

I ordered 3 plates of # «43: Con thit nuong cha hap» for takeout. When we ate it at home, the meat looks dry and tasted like rehydrated beef jerky. «Cha» was soggy and bland. Worst part was that it cost $ 9 after tax for each This was my first and will be last time eating here.

Best Banh Xeo around! So crunchy and the ingredients were really fresh. The snails were awesome as well. I love to try restaurant specials instead of just getting phở everywhere I go so I didn’t try the phở here. However from what I’ve tried, My Thi will stand out in my memory as a place to come back to.

I went soon after the place opened just out of curiosity. The place was a bit small, so I should have been able to smell the food considering it was 10 ft in front of me. I smelled nothing at all and Vietnamese people agree that when a restaurant claims to specialize in phở, the whole restaurant should smell of the phở broth. Scared of trying the phở, I ordered a Banh mi. The bread was hard and stale, the meat was tasteless, and the chua was not even chua. They basically put sliced carrot on my sandwich. I will never go back. I will tell my friends and family not to go there as well.

Only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because I have found a hair in my pick up orders 3 times now. That really pisses me off.

Ordered a large Phở Dac Biet(my go to dish when I’m on the road) and egg rolls. Everything was very tasty, and a nice representation of Vietnamese cusine! Also ordered an iced French coffee. They make it for you at their station. Wish they’d brought out the filter and hot glass to your table(café sua da drinkers know this). Just preference though. Call me old fashioned.

This is truly a «diamond in the rough!» It is a simple, café type restaurant with excellent food and service. We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls with shrimp instead of pork or chicken. The ingredients were stuffed in rice paper with lots of vegetables and tiny boiled fresh shrimp. The peanut sauce used for dipping was fresh and full of chopped peanuts. They were very tasty! We also tried #37-the vermicelli with shrimp salad. It was awesome-several grilled shrimp with vermicelli, lettuce, carrots, cilantro, onions, etc. The vermicelli was cooked perfectly. Ordered extra fish sauce with red pepper for the salad. Yummy! The owner and waiter were very hospitable and filled our tea glasses readily! Very unique experience! Much better than most Vietnamese restaurants in the city…

thanks for making ca kho(catfish claypot) just right spice(viet+thai fusion), the price is right for the amount beats one of its competitors nearby, sorry others are too Americanized that leaves you hungry for serving itzy bitsy portion size. I will try other dishes as well bc they have a special lunch deal for bo luc lac.

I came here for lunch with a couple of co-workers today and was pleasantly surprised at the quick service and interesting music lilting over the speakers. The first thing that hit me was«Top of the World» by The Carpenters. It was followed shortly by «Sound of Silence» by Simon and Garfunkel(the rock version, not the stripped down acoustic version). It was pretty fun and completely unexpected. We all had meetings at 1 pm, so we were hoping for a quick lunch stop and we got one! Our orders were out in less than 10 minutes. I got the phở with rib eye and meatballs. The meatballs seemed homemade or at least not the typical meatball I find at other phở restaurants. It was firm in texture without a lot of additional flavor. The rib eye was a little dry. The broth was really, really good. It was light, slightly sweet, and had enough meatiness to give it that lip smacking good flavor. It didn’t taste like it was packed with MSG, which is nice. I thought it was decent phở, but I probably made an ordering error. My co-workers got the Number 38, grilled pork with vermicelli and lettuce. They won lunch. It was almost a Thai intepretation of the Viet dish I’m so used to. There were crushed peanuts on top of the dish and the meat tasted heavily of lemongrass. It was really refreshing and tasty. It rang in at $ 7.50. The prices are about a dollar or so more than the rest of the neighborhood and I thought it was tasty, but not a dollar more tasty. The staff were incredibly helpful and really attentive. I think it didn’t help that we were the only customers in the restaurant. I hope this place sticks around so I can try more of their specialities.

I believe I misspelled the name of this establishment that has been opened for about a month. I only saw this place because I was pumping gas across the street and casually saw the marque saying«Vietnamese Food» and did not recall this in the shopping strip before. The main icon in this particular strip would be I believe the 249 Bar. If you see the W.I.C center, ti’s on the right hand side of that. My Thi which I think was meant to be spelled has a very good menu variety pretty much for everybody. The prices are on par with the surrounding competition and the one thing that stands out is the service is much better than pretty much all. Highway 249 in a few years will probably be saturated with more Asian(if not at least Vietnamese) restaurants and stores so this one to be added to the list of «do try» should be placed on your bucket list. Parking is ample even though it’s in a strip center, at least on a Sunday morning but I have not gotten to see if the WIC recipients flood the lot on the day timing. Ambience, the bare cement floor is probably the first thing that will catch your eyes, not a fan of it but at least you know there isn’t any creepy crawlies catching their ways around a carpet while you eat. Everything inside is pretty much new so no wobbly tables, funked up condiment containers yet. The owners/management were nice enough to let me share their wi fi since I could not get a good signal here, plus. Got to have my drinks refilled without asking, plus. Restroom pretty clean, plus. Variety of music shifting back and forth of different ethnicities and types, kind of a plus. I cannot think of the name of the dish my daughter had but it was nicely presented on an iron skillet like fajitas. The beef was pretty good, a little onion salad, about 10 french fries and a sunny up egg accompanied by a piece of bread on the side. This was a $ 10 dish, pretty much worth it for the experience. I had the Phở. Maybe I didn’t have my taste buds awaken yet but did not feel that layer that one tastes when landing on the palette that day. I will definitely give it a second try a big pointer in my book of Phở’s places is if they ofter soft tendon and bible tripe in the bowl. They have a good assortment of combinations that you may choose. Bring reading material or your smartphone to davy in if you come here alone since there are not any televisions to view while you wait for your food. This should be on top of the list if you venture in the area for some Vietnamese because not only do you get good service, that new restaurant experience and decent prices for food but a pretty good variety that the others around do not offer. #number38
