I’ve sadly been here a couple of times simply because it’s one of the only places you can get breakfast tacos in the tunnel since it’s under construction and I hate myself every time I find myself down there. EVERYTHING is WAY over priced and disgusting. Nothing ever tastes fresh. **This morning I went to go get a fajita taco, ate one, and just as I was eating the second I noticed a piece of the meat was GREEN!!! I called down there and told a gentlemen who then rapidly told the woman at the cash register, and she replied with«It’s the cilantro we cook with.» NO! This was a LIMEGREEN color, something DEFINETELY not from Cilantro! I will NEVER go back. CHECKYOURFOOD!

I noticed today that they also have egg white options as well as turkey bacon.

Kill it with fire. Cheap ingredients, inflated prices, velveeta queso, horrible service, and possibly a tablespoon of unseasoned gritty, sandy ground beef on a $ 7 taco salad. And I don’t think the guac is made out of avocado. Just try and beg for basic amenities, such as a cup of water, a spoon or fork, or some napkins.

While I still love Kolache Factory, I am forced to give Ninfa’s another star. After a lovely visit to the doctor’s to find out that my cholesterol is not so good, I really need to start eating less eggs and more egg whites. Many breakfast joints just don’t offer egg whites as an option. That’s where Ninfa’s comes in. As I had mentioned before, they have a variety of choices, including egg whites. So you’ll be finding me here now to fulfill my breakfast taco needs.

You know you’re eating a sh-tty«Tex-Mex» meal when you can actually legitimately say Taco Bell food tastes better. And that’s just me being generous. I just got done eating a vegetarian bean taco plate which quickly resembled a plate of vegetarian bean mush 3 minutes after eating it. The under-cooked tortillas were flimsy and quickly gave way from the weight of the beans and onions(and spilled onto my skirt!). The side of black beans that came with with the meal was bland and slimy(obviously canned) and they were greedy with the guacamole that I paid an extra 69 cents for. The high prices posted on their menu is just the basic bones of the meal. Once assembled you’ll realize everything else added is extra. I’m ashamed to say I’ve been here more than once — only because I work in the Chase tower. I go here for convenience and not for quality nor quantity. Unfortunately, that’s basically how most eateries in the Downtown tunnel survive so I probably shouldn’t really expect much. I… guess. Maybe it’s time for me to start saving my money and bring my own lunch. Next time I go there, it will be out of extreme hunger and I’ll remember to wear a bib.
