The most unfriendly owner and front desk women. They are rude and only one thing in mind, to charge as much as they can. I am switching to different cleaners. I don’t Recomend Omni Cleaners in Chimney Rock.

Have you ever tried to iron a man’s shirt after laundering it yourself? If you have, you know it’s difficult, tedious and requires a zen-​like calmness most of us don’t possess. I’m in awe of my mother who ironed my dad’s and my shirts when I grew up in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Bottom-​line: I won’t do it.
If you’re like me, you really want to establish an excellent relationship with a dry cleaning business since you’ll be dropping off over a dozen of them every two weeks so that they can launder and professionally iron them for you. I had established just that sort of relationship until convenience and logistics issues cropped up six months ago forcing me to look for a new place.
Right out of the gate, I landed on Omni because they were conveniently located on the way to work. When I dropped off my first batch, Erika, the pleasant lady who runs the place, told me that they have an ongoing coupon deal online that saves you over 20% on laundered shirts and gave me the coupon price since it was the first time. I liked that. Basically, with the coupon, you can have a shirt laundered for $ 1.29 (or for $ 1.19 if you also bring dry cleaning, which I usually don’t). When I picked them up the next day, all the shirts looked great. It was a good start. It’s gotten better over the last six months.
What makes a Dry Cleaners rate five stars on Unilocal?Here’s my formula:
(1) No cracked buttons and no fabric damage (a no-​brainer boundary condition)
(2) No mix-​ups (Omni has a description of each shirt on the garment bags when they’re returned to me indicating they have some excellent controls in place)
(3) Very sharp appearance (yes, they iron well)
(4) Nice little touches (cuffs requiring cuff links are returned with clever plastic clips that hold the pressed cuffs in place until I’m ready to insert the link)
(5) Good value for your money ($ 1.29/shirt works for me)
(6) Excellent and efficient customer service (the third time I came in to pick up my shirts, Erika greeted me by name, had already rung up the bill and had me out of there in about two minutes — this has continued ever since)
If you’re in the Memorial area and need a dry cleaner, I strongly recommend you give them a try.
Note of clarification: As of 08-​Sep-​2012, the map location shown by Unilocal incorrectly puts Omni in the subdivision just North of the strip mall where they really are located (intersection of Chimney Rock and Woodway).

They get a 0 rating… They ruined my shirt terribly and did nothing about it. Worse yet… they blamed me. Extremely poor service and client relation.
