Oooh La La Elite Cupcakes

I stopped by for the first time tonight and got a peach cobbler and I have to say that was the best cupcake I have had in a long time! I am excited to go back and try more!

My father and I decided to stop in on a whim earlier this week and wow!!! The smells alone are drool worthy. My father picked out five different flavors and his favorite was the apple cobbler. He said it was bad a**. It was that good! We decided that we would get a bunch of cupcakes for a retirement party for today. Unfortunately the retiree had a personal emergency so we were unable to do so. The ladies that helped us out yesterday were very nice and told us that the batter is mixed the day before and all cupcakes are baked that morning so you know you are getting very fresh cupcakes. I decided to place an order for a dozen gluten free red velvet standard cupcakes and I think they got the batter mixed up. I let my husband try one and he asked me twice If they were gluten free. I was very surprised at how light, fluffy, moist and favorable the cupcakes were. They are the best gluten free cupcakes I have ever had!!! You can get either standard size or jumbo sized cupcakes and a vast amount of flavors. Gluten free options are a little slim though, just chocolate and red velvet but that seems to be the norm with all cupcakeries.

While I love to support local businesses, this will be a one time trip for me here.
The owner was so sweet and very kind and the staff was equally nice.
Now down to the cupcakes. I wish I had nice things to say but I’m giving my opinion on the flavors I tried.
Here is what I tried:
*strawberry cake pop
*chocolate confetti
*red velvet
*wedding cake
The texture was ok on some and too spongy on other flavors. Red velvet had the best texture and the confetti had the worst being slightly dry.
My biggest issue was every single item was TOO SWEET.
Man it was so sweet I couldn’t eat it. I spent 20.00 on cupcakes and I managed to eat ½ a red velvet.
The cake pop coating was very sugary and the inside cake was mushy, almost wet. I’ve had some great cake pops (other places) before and these were just a miss.
The wedding cake was swimming in almond extract. It was even in the frosting and it was so strong and tasted very artificial. On extract a little goes a long way.
The red velvet was decent but again so darn sweet (the frosting was what I didn’t like)
The chocolate confetti cupcake had a really dry texture, not moist like red velvet but it tasted blah. Didn’t enjoy the flavor of the cake or frosting.
As much as I wanted to love it here I ended up just wasting money.

Delicious. Straight up moist deliciousness. Don’t think these are those puny cupcakes that are 4 bucks each. These are dense handfuls, please don’t take that compliment the wrong way. I would say the frosting is creeping over the too-​sweet borderline but nothing to complain about.
We came here for the first time today, should have checked Unilocal for the coupon! Sadly, I wish there were more flavors there today. Looked like she was wiped out but we still made out with 4 different flavors.

I was so excited to have a cupcake place close to home, unfortunately it just didn’t do it for me. Customer service was great but, the cupcakes were seriously lacking. We bought churro, lemonade, and orange soda flavor. All of them were way too sweet, granulated/​gritty, and just not fresh tasting. Sad to say, I will not be returning.

GREAT customer service! The cupcakes were delicious and not too sweet to the point of me cringing, like the grocery store cupcakes. in my opinion they taste even better than Gigi’s Cupcakes. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back. I do recommend this place.

Places like these are why I’ll never lose the belly rolls =\ These cupcakes are soooo good! Moist, fluffy, buttery and not itty bitty like some of the other cupcake chains. Kiddo and I shared the Cookies & Cream and it was amazing!
The store is big for a cupcake shop and there’s plenty of seating to study or do some work. Although I read that they serve coffee as well it definitely looks more like a store so adding a little coffee shop appeal would make it a nice place to hang out.
Will be back!

I seldom eat cupcakes so I was amazed at finding these so scrumptious to warrant a review.
First, this small shop is above creative is both flavor combinations and presentation. Everything looks so good it’s hard to choose a flavor. I went with peach cobbler and wedding cake (yes, couldn’t pick just one– almost choose three!)
The peach cobbler is a fantastic blend of a cobbler style cake, peach chunks, cinnamon and frosting topped with peach glaze. It’s a large cupcake, moist, feels like eating grandmas cobbler; really tasty.
Next I tried the wedding cake. Just enough almond flavor blended into an extremely moist cupcake topped with a generous pile of frosting. It’s a melt in your mouth flavor explosion that you just want to keep eating. Luckily I asked for mine to be cut in half so I could try two flavored and save the rest for later!
With so many cupcake shops opening around town it’s hard to be a stand out but this place has it right. Fresh, moist, beautiful presentation and all from a local, small business Owner. YUM

Always one to support my local business owners and the cupcake lovers that we are, I decided to pop in here with my husband and give their cupcakes a try. Oooh La La is right — so soft and moist is the cake part, and the icing is creamy and buttery. The owner, Tasha, is so welcoming and friendly, and they make the most unique flavors — cotton candy, pancake w/​bacon, pumpkin spice and ones that are everyone’s go to — red velvet, birthday cake, wedding cake, vanilla bean, hazelnut.
You can sign up for their frequent rewards program where you get a point for every visit and as a testament to how great their cupcakes are — we have visited the store 17 TIMES in just a little over a month from our first visit!

This place is amazing! Great customer service and the cupcakes were awesome! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who enjoys sweets!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a few days just kept slipping my mind, but finally getting to it now… I sooo wanted to love this place but I don’t. First off the customer service was great! No problem there. Now to the cupcakes or cupcake in my case. So I picked out two, one red velvet and one cookie and cream. I love red velvet but I didn’t really care for theirs too much, it didn’t have that «made from scratch» taste. The cookies and cream one I actually forgot about it and didn’t even eat it… Since I pass but that shopping center like everyday, I’ll definitely give them another try.

Wonderful service and wonderful cupcakes. Try the strawberry short cake cupcake… it is absolutely delicious. Lovely and peppy décor and funny /​friendly staff. Great little find! Near the Pei Wei on FM 1960.

I wish I would of found this place before I chose another cupcake place for a wedding! I was treated with respect and kindness and had the most yummy, moist, vanilla bean cupcake. This will definitely be my go to place for cupcakes! But I couldn’t make a decision on what cupcake to choose, they all looked amazing, she explained the cupcakes to me and then it was easy to make my decision and I bought 2 more to take home!
I have a wedding and two birthdays coming up. I’ll definitely be serving these cupcakes at those events!

I don’t eat cupcakes on a regular basis. I had a cupcake that had walnuts and cream cheese icing. I also had a cake ball for a sample.
The cupcake was moist and fluffy.
I drove all the way from Hobby Airport to Champions Village and let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed. As long as gas stays under $ 2.50 a gallon, I’ll be back.

It took me a little while to write a review, but here it goes… I purchased the pistachio cupcake and unfortunately it was a disappointment. The cupcake was dry and sadly there was no Pistachio taste. I really love pistachio so I was hoping that maybe it would have been pistachios throughout the cupcake, but nope.
The other Cupcake I tried was the churro cupcake that too was dry. The churro on top tasted really stale, I couldn’t eat it.
Last cupcake I bought was Apple or something along those lines and again, the cupcake was dry with stiff frosting as all of the frostings.
These are my honest reviews pertaining to my experience. Although, the staff was pretty friendly with good customer service I don’t think I’ll be returning. If I do, and the experience is better I will update this review.

LOVE! So happy to have a delicious cupcake bakery in the Champions area! The cupcakes are delicious and the girls that work here are so nice and helpful! They have great flavors too, I have tired the Sundae cupcake, Double Chocolate cupcake, and Red Velvet cake ball. I cannot wait to stop in again!

This place is AMAZING! First of all, the staff is wonderful. We showed up after closing time one night but we saw someone behind the counter, so, I stuck my head in the door and they told us to come on in. We have tried a variety of favors and they are all delicious! However, my very favorite is the peach cobbler cupcake. It is the best cupcake I have EVER had! Do yourself a favor and try one. :)

Really glad the champion area has a cup cake store now! At first I was hesitate to try it since some of the reviews were not very good. However I decided to find out myself. Went in the store was very clean and spacious! The lady greeted me immediately. All the cup cakes were nicely organized to show and purchase in the glass cabinet. I bought 4 different flavors and finished one before I got home. It was very testy! The sizes of the cupcakes are big, filled me up after I ate one. We need more of these quality places in the community.

When you walk in, it feels so welcoming! I have to say that when I came to get something there, it was late so nothing was out but the lady that work there told me there was one more vanilla cupcake left. I was like great!
The presentation of the cupcake was not that appetizing. The cupcake itself wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t great. Tbh, it tasted more like granulated sugar than an actual cupcake itself. It’s just my opinion, and I may seem like a food critic but when it comes to food, it’s food.
Idk, I may have to come back and give them another try. I’ll be sure to change my review if I come back.

The owner and staff are vested in their customer service and their patrons. Everytime I visit and try new items I’m always greeted warmly and they make sure my questions are answered. The various individual cupcake flavors are a delight, and I look forward to continuing my patronage.
