No one really likes spending time in a gas station convenience store, but you know how there are certain ones that are just really nice? And you wouldn’t mind spending a few extra minutes just to look around at everything? This is one of those stores. I love the space themed décor — it makes me feel like I’m in line at a Universal Studios ride. When you walk in, it smells like beef jerky and Fabuloso floor cleaner. This tells me that a) my fiancé will be happy because they sell beef jerky and b) the store is clean. It’s pretty spacious and they have a good selection of alcoholic beverages. I haven’t bought gas here or tried the hot food, so check out the other reviews for more info on those!

For a gas station this place has a lot of amenities. They have a beer cave and a wine area with a ton of choices. They have a decent coffee bar and food selection. The gas prices here can be higher than other stations nearby though so do your homework.

Needed gas. They sold it, at a slightly higher price than normal. But, it was convenient and necessary. I didn’t go inside, so nothing else!

Houston, we got an orbit! This is by far one of the coolest looking Chevron gas stations/convience store by far! It is centrally located in the NASA Space center area. Inside is decorated with a space theme that coincides with the surrounding area. Gas prices are slightly higher than other places, but this is what a lobster is to a crawfish. A more impressive deal!

This is where you go when you need a convenience store, but you want to feel classy. Not like a tux and a strapless gown classy, but. Well you could wear jeans-shorts and a T-Shirt here, but I didn’t The place has a spacious interior, the aisles are wide and there’s room around all the displays. There’s NO #@#$$%! TV blaring at me(!) It has very high ceilings, which are very dark and have halogen lights, giving the convenience store food a dramatic lighting. The floor is snazzy — not terrazzo, but something sort of like it. Nice wood carpentry. Outside look has some flair, too, with brick and stone façade and stonework around the pumps. They’ve got a section of NASA and Texas souvenirs up front. And most of the usual convenience-store items at the usual convenience store prices. But the WINEROOM was a surprise. They’ve got this one room off to the side with extra fancy carpentry and lighting, with lots of choices of mid-price wines displayed in stained-wood display triangles. And again with the halogen lighting. They sell all-beef roller hot-dogs and prepackaged sandwiches. They’ve got 4 deuce tables you can sit at and enjoy your roller hot-dogs and mid-price wine. You could actually get away with taking a date here. I’m not going to. But you could. If you dress classy.
