I have just recently started using Origin’s face products. Whenever I order online, they send free samples. This has opened up a whole line of products for me to try. Because of this, I have found several face moisturizers and cleansers that I really like! My skin feels softer and looks brighter.

By far the best Origins store ever! Shonn, the Store Manager should teach guest service to all of the other Origins stores. He went out of his way to accommodate me with an order of out of stock product. I don’t live in Houston but will always order through him from now on.

I had the«free» facial and purchased a small tub of eye cream. Later, I decided to return because $ 45 was way too much for 0.5 oz. The girl first tried to convince me not to return and then told me the facial is only free if I purchase something. I told her that’s not what I was told and not what the sign said. We went around in circles a few times. Finally, she agreed and passed me off to another guy. He asked me again why I was returning. Not wanted to go through that again, I told him I already discussed with the girl. He rolled his eyes and grunted or something. Then, when repeating the last 4 digits of my cc he switched two of the numbers. I said the correct numbers to clarify and then very rudely he said that’s what I said. I told him I’m just clarifying bc he switched the numbers. He again rolled his eyes, sighed, and said no I didn’t. He was very rude! AND to top it all off the girl said very snidely, she’s returning but she wants to keep the samples. True customer service would just hand me the bag and not say anything. Do not support this store and their rude employees!

More retail stores need to take some pointers from Origins. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile from and employee. They make you feel welcome without feeling like they’re going to hound you to spend all of your money. Very helpful staff. They were patient and kind while I rambled on about my skin issues. Claire was the salesperson who helped me and she is great. She answered all my questions, and offered a free mini-facial that was customized for my acne prone skin. She took her time explaining the different products and why they would work for me, but without shoving the information down my throat. I ended up buying some products, but not because I felt obligated to. I love that they don’t use a hard sell approach where they berate you into spending money. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I wish I could give no stars! These people make me so mad, I cant believe their in business. I went in for a facial to try a new skin regimen. I love it, and bought it. I used it a couple days later and realized it made my face numb so I went to return it. They said they couldn’t because they didn’t have enough cash and they refused to return it to my card. Luckily I work in the galleria, so I went back the next day and met the assistant manager. She was very nice, until I realized she lied to me. She told me I had to buy something in order for my facial to be free.(aren’t they always free?) She also gave me a bunch of samples so I wouldn’t return anything and a coupon after I said I wanted their district managers number. She said they didn’t have a district manager but shed love to take care of me. I later learned at another location that I DON’T need to buy anything and that ofshan or whatever her name is lied to me and manipulated me. She didn’t give me a recipet so I can’t even return the new stuff I got. I’m so upset, I’m never doing business with these people again!

Only went in to look for their mascara that I usually buy online. Ended up walking out and not buying anything because all the mascara, lipstick, etc in the makeup area looked like it had been used as testers. There was makeup all over the tubes themselves and they weren’t in boxes like they are when you buy online. Sales clerk was friendly and helpful though. It looked like the main focus of the store were the in-store spa treatments.

So I’m not completely sold if their products really do work or not, but their staff is very friendly and informative. They give free facials, which is really relaxing. The products are on the expensive side, but at least they don’t hard sell you and describe exactly what you are buying.

I came to Origins in desperate help for some skin care. My face at the age of 24 has suddenly decided to act like it is entering puberty years where you have those great braces and baby fat faces. I had been using whatever products I found that would help the problem but didn’t really take care of it in reality. I also used Proactive and although when it first became popular four or five years ago it worked fabulously for my skin but it doesn’t do the trick anymore. I looked online at the origins products and thoroughly checked out the videos online etc and read reviews on certain products that I would seem interested in before entering the store. I was warmly welcomed when entering the origins store being asked what brings me to the store as I say«my pimply face and dark circles.» She pretty much could tell what was wrong with my skin by looking. I found out that my skin is very sensitive which I hadn’t known before, because I didn’t know the definition of what signs you look for to tell you that your skin is sensitive. She offered me a free facial and I did so with the products that would help my skin. I ended up getting the whole regimen, which most of the products I was looking into getting from the online descriptions and great reviews anyways. It was pricy but it is a 10 month supply because all of these products only require a small amount. So it’s more of an investment that you must keep up with and actually use morning and night for improvements. My face felt very light and fresh after the facial. Also when you purchase the whole regimen, you get free facials every 2 weeks(with an appointment) for the rest of the year. So it’s kinda nice, and every 2 weeks they check on your skin and how it’s reacting to the products and if one is not working out after using it morning and night for the past 2 weeks they will switch them out for ones that will better help you. I believe that is only when you buy the whole regimen together at once. It’s nice to have someone look at your skin and tell you whats going on or what will be best for you if you are having breakouts etc. In my case, I am just very hormonal and it’s normal for my age. So I needed stuff to calm my skin. As well as dig deep to clear away the bacteria that may be growing underneath but hasn’t appeared on the surface. I got my products yesterday and so far see that my skin is calmer than it was. I will find out if these products really did the trick in 2 weeks. So far I’m satisfied.
