Palace Inn 45 Crosstimber

I literally made a Unilocal account only so I can review this place. I have absolutely no idea what the previous reviewers are on about, the room I’m staying in right now couldn’t be any more different. This room is DIRTY. Like FILTHY. Let me start from the beginning. 1. To even enter the room I had to TACKLE the door. It was completely stuck. I even thought I had the wrong room number. If it weren’t for the green blinking lights, I would have gone downstairs and asked if I got the wrong room key. 2. Then, the SMELL. Oh god, the smell. It was horrid. 3. Dust. Everywhere. On the floor. On the ancient TV. In the bathroom. Everywhere. 4. Just overall nastiness. There’s gum stuck to my headboard. Bugs on the floor. Bugs in the bathroom. I had two bug bites within SECONDS of me laying on the bed.
This room costs $ 70 a night. My advice? Shell out the few extra bucks for a better place and save yourself the discomfort.

A great deal and very clean to boot; located off I-​45 and a handful of miles from Houston city center (Houston Fine Arts Museum and Houston Museum of Natural Science), it makes sense to avoid the HORRIBLE Houston freeway traffic and call this place home. Next door is a Walmart and a few blocks away are the usual fast food chains. Did I say clean? Oh the secret is out because on a weekday night on the tail end of summer, the lot was full.

By far the best value in town. The rooms are recently remodeled, nice clean tile floors instead of nasty carpets. The owners, management & staff take pride in this property! absolutely NO BUGS! The property is very secure & safe. If you are in town to work, they have the best weekly rates in town & rooms that will allow you to relax in comfort! FIVE STARS or more when compared to the competition!!!
