Natural hair rocks, period. And for anyone who rocks their mane natural like myself, you already know that having the right hair products is the key to rockin that ish RIGHT! With so many great product lines out there, it’s hard to keep up nowadays and what’s even harder is finding stores who carry brands that aren’t distributed at mainstream retailers. I’ve managed to find a few natural hair stores around town and was absolutely elated when I came across my most recent discovery– Pampered & Twisted! Y’all, I think I’m in love…
This cute little natural hair boutique is truly a hidden gem! It can be found in a strip mall center near the West Oaks mall, just past Highway 6 on Westheimer Parkway. When I realized it was on my side of town, I was pretty stoked and knew it was a must that I stop by. This past Saturday, I did just that. I knew the moment I walked in, my visit wouldn’t be in vain. Shelved with all the quality natural hair care brands such as Camille Rose Naturals, Karen’s Body Beautiful, Curl Junkie, My Honey Child, Koils by Nature, and Bel Nouvo (just to name a few) I knew it was about to go down and a purchase would definitely be taking place. I mean, how could I not? Products galore!
I was in search of a good moisturizing deep conditioner and was open to trying something new. Topaz was the person who assisted me and she was awesome– so friendly and down to earth. She really knew a lot about the products, old and new and offered me some great suggestions. I ended up buying the Hairveda Sitrinillah Deep Conditioner and the CoCo Castor Pudding from the Bel Nouvo line. I noticed they carry a lot of other brands that are fairly new to the market such as Soultanicals, Hairveda, L.A.C.E. Natural, and Etae. Another great sign that this store is on top of their game with the products, which will definitely keep me coming back. They also sell shampoo bars, henna, and hair vitamins.
I’m very happy to have found this place right in my neck of the woods. So to all my girls (and guys too) with the kinks and curls, mark this store as another «go-​to» spot in Houston for all your natural hair care needs. If you’re anything like me, I’m pretty sure once you visit, you won’t walk out empty handed!

Yeah, another natural hair store in houston! The store is small but cute! They have a great selection of products and where I’am coming from (richmond) its a nice drive to get to! Will be shopping here again and spreading the word =)
