Party Moonwalks

I wish I could give zero stars. My son’s birthday party is on Saturday (today is Friday — the day before the party). After having reserved the moonwalk and paid the deposit, I got an email from «Sandy» canceling my reservation because they could not find a driver to bring the bounce house to my house LAST NIGHT. The email said, «We have refunded your deposit and it should show up in 3 business days to your account. If you have further questions, feel free to contact our office.» Of note, NO apology, NO offer to try to get us set up with something else, NOTHING. It seems wrong that a party supply company would have zero qualms about essentially ruining a 2 year old’s birthday party. Definitely do not recommend unless you enjoy companies that thrive on disappointing small children and stressing out pregnant women.

Completely unprofessional and rude. Employees failed to disclose the terms of their deposits over the phone and the fact that they are non-​refundable even if the cancellation is less than 24 hrs after paying… and the event is several weeks away. Uses the excuse that the terms are on their website… however, customers who did not find them using the internet and instead was referred… wouldn’t know those terms unless told over the phone when discussing the rental. Have accessed the website by two different phones and neither show the orange section that supposedly has their terms. Extremely poor Customer Service and manager has an «I don’t care» attitude.

I found them after I was turned down due to location. This company has been A+!!! I asked them to change my time and location due the weather the next of an it was prob or hassle just excellent customer service! They set up before the event starts and are extremely kind. I will be using them again!!! a new fav!!!

The delivery driver never even called to tell me he was on his way the day before the party. When he arrived he was very rude and told me there was «dog crap» all in my yard. I explained to him that I pay a service to pick up the poop twice a week but he was still very rude about it. He didn’t ask me how I wanted the moonwalk set up, he just began to set it up where he thought it should go. He set it up where the huge blowers were facing my party tables and guests and where the opening to the bounce house was on the total opposite side. I told him that this would not work and he started talking about the «dog crap» again stating that he couldn’t move it bc there was too much «dog crap.» I then explained to him that he didn’t have to move it somewhere else in the yard but to just turn it around so the blowers were in the back and the entrance in the front. Common sense should have dictated this in the first place but obviously he has none. And he was just too lazy and didn’t want to move it. When he brought the paperwork for me to sign he then AGAIN started talking about the «dog crap» and how he could not believe that I was going to have a bunch of kids in my back yard with all of that «crap.» I then had to explain to him again that Someone was coming to pick it up that day and that it wouldn’t be an issue. Overall he was very rude and unprofessional. He explained to me that someone would probably pick up the unit on Sunday bc they had a very full weekend. Then I received a phone call on Saturday night at 11 pm from a young man saying he was on his way to pick the unit up, 11 PM!!! He’s lucky I even answered the phone. We were already in bed and my 3 children were sleeping obviously. He said that he was dispatched to pick up the unit and I told him that he couldn’t get the unit bc it’s in the backyard and we have dogs and a gate that surrounds our property. In order for him to pick it up I would have to get out of bed, put up the dogs, wait for him to get to my house so that I could open the gate for him to get in and by then it would be midnight. That just wasn’t going to happen and I could not believe they expected it to. He then explained that none of that mattered bc he needed to pick up the unit. My husband then had to get on the phone and also explain to him that we live in a guard gated community and that the guards will not let any construction or service vehicles in after 6 pm. So needless to say, all around a terrible experience. I really hope you guys can get it together bc this was just terrible.

Buyer BEWARE! They will not arrive on time for your event. DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE!!! If I could give 0 stars — I would! We ordered an inflatable slide from Party Moonwalk Rentals weeks in advance and confirmed with payment the day before our son’s 8^th birthday party. The company informed me at that time that the driver would call to let us know the time of delivery (our party and reservation was set at 4pm). At 2pm I had not received a call from the driver, so I called them. They stated, «well your party isn’t until 4pm, so the driver has plenty of time to be there.» Unfortunately, I accepted this answer and did not insist on speaking with a manager. At 3pm I called back and evidently everytime I called the number, I was reaching an office in Idaho and then they had to put me on hold to contact the company in Houston.(buyer = warning sign) On the 3pm call, after some insistance on my part, I was finally told that the delivery will be a little late. I asked how late, however, she would not give me an ETA because she said she might be wrong. At 4:00pm I call back to inquire again how late they will be and they return my call at 4:09pm to find out the driver has reported he will be 2 hours late! I am beyond upset at this point and I am so angry that I insist the driver call me per their own rules that he should have called that morning to let me know the schedule. He calls me at 4:30 to let me know that his truck broke down ealry that morning and they are running behind schedule. He informs me that he is in Memorial and will have to go to Fulshear, TX first and that is why he can’t make my delivery for another 2 hours. He also informs me that the Fulshear job is a $ 1000 rental and should have been there at noon. After 5 minutes of going round and round with his rudeness and sarcastic attitude, I go off on him and he tells me to «F-​off» and hangs up the phone. At this point I stop calling the 832−581−4484 number and call Idaho direct at 208−288−2208. At 4:36 they tell me they will find out how they are going to fix this and will call me back. At 5:05 I have to call again because they still hadn’t contacted me back to resolve how I was going to get my inflatable. At 5:15pm they leave me a message stating that the Houston manager/​driver «Andrew» (that I was speaking with) will not be delivering the unit and they have no one else in the city of Houston that can deliver, but a manager will contact me on Monday. If you rent from Party Moonwalk Rentals you will have disappointed children because they are not trying to be there for the customer. All they care about is getting your money and they could care less about your event or their promise to be there at a certain time. It seems that this must occur many times — just google Party Moonwalk Rental Reviews– Wish I had done this before I rented from them and I would have seen that they have a «reputation» for being late and not even caring about it. They will not answer the question as to why they didn’t contact someone «early in the morning» when the truck broke down and get two trucks to make their customer happy. Andrew was more worried about a $ 1000 order that was already going to be 5 hours late, rather that a $ 250 order that he could actually deliver and only be 30 minutes late. In the end this is the most horrendoues company I have ever dealt with and all they could say was «I’m sorry ma’am you’ll just have to make do until we can get the slide to you 2 hours late.» Meanwhile we have a whole neighborhood of dissapointed children standing around waiting with their bathing suits and towels, but no waterslide. Way to go Party Moonwalk Rentals — You guys show that you really care about the kids that you supposedly service! 2 hours late and party was over — 2 hours late is unnacceptable!
