I had been eyeing the GROUPON deal for this business for months. I had booked a trip to see my boyfriend in California so I wanted a microdermabrasion to make my skin prettier. After I purchased the groupon deal on Dec 7, I called to leave a message to schedule my appointment. Two days before my original appointment, Dandi(her assistant) called to tell me Farrah(the estetician — sp?) was out for a family emergency and wouldn’t be available until the beginning of the next year. I explained my situation and the reason why I bought it— and she scheduled an appt for me on the 20th of december. I snuck out of work during lunch to make the appt. When I sat down and talked to her, she told me the microdermabrasion would not accomplish what I want and recommended me the 5 chemical peels instead. Instead of being able to transfer what I purchased for microdermabrasion and pay extra for the difference, she said I could use the microderm AFTER chemical peels to maintain the results. So I paid for the peels and had her write a note on my receipt that stated«I can redeem microderm after peels even if promotion expired with Groupon). On my 3rd peel, I asked for a refund on the microderm(as stated in groupon policy, I could request refund if not used) — well, she wouldn’t allow it and said I REDEEMED the microderm when I came into the appt regardless of whether I used it or not… Soon after that, the voucher in GROUPON quickly changed to redeem… conniving business. Every chemical peel needed a month in between. So after my 5 peels(5 months) I scheduled to use my microderm finally. I made an appointment with her new assistant(her sister; Dandi left). Farrah texts me 3 hours before my appt date/time to tell me she is moving today and rest of the week to another location further away and that I can call them to reschedule my appointment. Ever since change of book keeper, it’s been confusing and horrible with appts. No 24 hour confirmation. No advance notices of changes. No scheduling on their part but we as customers have to call or email. And sometimes you don’t even get a response until a week later or none at all. She gives you her personal cell phone but you can NEVER get a hold of her. I would NOT recommend this business only bc it’s not stable and you really stress bc of the unknown. Farrah seems sweet and knowledgeable about her products. But I had to stress and worry too much with booking and making sure my appt is when and where it’s suppose to be. I’m a single mom working full time and getting my masters. Stressed enough already and these services are suppose to be relaxing and calming. Which they aren’t. When I was doing my chemical peel, she cancelled on me a lot of times — There was always a family emergency. She dresses very casually(jeans) and hightails it out of there after each of my appointment like she needs to go socialize or something. Would not recommend anymore. And FYI — her business as of 6÷25÷2014 still states she’s in the NWHOUSTON area on Jones Rd… when she’s not. She’s not in the Galleria area and her prices have doubled/tripled«because the plastic surgeon she works with made that policy». I don’t know how she will survive with such horrible etiquette.

DONOTBUYTHELIVINGSOCIAL, GROUPON or ANYOTHERDEAL for this company. Farrah is SO unprofessional. Good luck getting an appointment. After 3 wks of trying to contact them, I finally got an appointment through email since that was the only way I was getting a response. The night before my appointment, I get an email appointment request for an appointment time 2 hrs earlier then my original so I send an email asking why this was changed and that I couldn’t make the changed time. She writes me back and tells me to check my central time on my email??? Ok no. It was a change in time because the reminder came over as a change. She explained in the email that my appointment had not changed and I was still scheduled for the original time. I show up the next day to an empty building and she is no where in site. I call and txt the number listed on her door and finally get a Txt, not a call, that says didn’t get your email, will have to reschedule. I do not live around the area so I was extremely irritated that I drove out there for nothing. I called living social immediately and requested a refund. DONOTBOTHER, ITIS A WASTEOFTIME. Horrible business person!

I have to say I am glad I didn’t even get a chance to go to this business. I just called over the phone to make an appointment because I purchased a Living Social deal and just based on the attitude over the phone I knew I did not want to do business with them. I asked about availability for Saturday and she was just really dry and informed me they were booked she didn’t suggest any other days I had to basically drag the information out of her. This establishment really didn’t act like they needed or wanted my business(let’s see how far that attitude gets them) so I gladly went to Living Social and requested my refund. I rather give my business to an establishment that would be happy to receive it. Customer service is so very important and it clearly seems like they are lacking in this area.

unprofessional. Farrah has a family emergency every weekend and they constantly cancel your appointment. I do not even know if she was good or not because they canceled on me so much.

I went to peel palace a couple months ago and I was less than impressed by the experience. I don’t get facials on a regular basis, but I do like to treat myself occasionally. It is usually relaxing and I generally leave feeling pretty good about the money I spent. Even though I did purchase a groupon, I really didn’t feel this way about my experience here. The aesthetician was sweet, but she spent the ENTIRE time trying to sell me products and treatment packages. I told her that I was generally happy with what I used and that’s when the owner chimed in. Another thing that was disappointing was the«facial» portion of the appointment was nonexistent. She cleansed my skin to remove the make up and then proceeded to the microdermabrasion. There was no steam, no mask, no extractions. This is all part of a facial. Overall, it was a disappointment, and I will not even be using my second groupon that came with the deal. It’s just too much of a hassle. Facial and hassle should never be in the same sentence.

I bought a groupon now that said I could use it between 10 am — 6 pm. It was a little bit of a drive, but I wanted to use their services. I checked their website which also said they closed at 6. I drive there and they are closed. My account has been charged but I also wasted time and gas that I could’ve saved doing something else. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back and don’t recommend the hassle.

The experience was just okay for me. I had a facial followed by a microdermabrasion. I did not have many expectations before going, except that maybe it would be a relaxing experience and I’d have cleaner pores. Everyone was very friendly throughout the visit. My biggest pet peeve was that the aesthetician kept on talking to the other worker who was observing. I found that to be unprofessional and distracting. This lasted throughout the facial until she left the room so that I was left w/the steamer. Also, I felt a little bit too much of a push to buy the products and make more appointments. The setting is tranquil, but if you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is not the place to go.
