Booked an appointment online for an oil change. When I arrived, They turned me away because they were «too busy» without any sort of remorse or apology. Wish they would have called me to let me know instead of having me drive all the way to find out my appointment would not be honored. Only reason for the extra star is that I was able to find a great auto shop as a result of this poor encounter that I’ll be going to for all future repairs.

Great guys, got in and out with my inspection. Very easy to talk to about concerns without pressure to buy. They estimated time to complete was much longer than it actually took. Waiting area was clean and they have snacks and drinks to buy. If you’re really bored, head over to Terry Hershey park for a good walk.

I went in for a quote to install front struts on my avalon. I went twice within two days and the quote went from $ 252 to $ 408. There was no difference in things done, just price went up within two days by $ 156… Yup, not taking my car to the bobble heads.

I had a last minute car issue before driving to Orlando for the holidays. The motor to my passenger window on the driver’s side broke and the window wouldn’t stay up. I came in on a Saturday to get it fixed and was told it should be done in a couple hours. By the end of the day it wasn’t finished because they ordered the motor for the wrong door. Long story short they promised it ready for Sunday and once again it wasn’t ready. I had to delay my vacation since they didn’t fix it until Monday when they said it would be done Saturday. Lousy customer service since they never called me with updates. I always had to call them to find out what was going on at the end of each day.

Don’t go to this one. There is to much drame between workers
They go to the back and stay there for a long time, mean while custumers are left in the front un attended. (and yes, the manager is with them)

Gave me wrong diagnosis the first time when my car broke down, and charged me around 700 $. Car broke down again the very next day and towed it to the same place and charged me another 600 $ with a different diagnosis. This all happened in 3 days and i spent more than a 1000 $ including tow expenses. Complete ripp off. Not coming back ever.

I had my breaks done a month ago. After I broke them in I had a loud noise every time I reversed. I went back to have them check it, I had to pay 15.00 bucks for that go figure. When I left I had the same problem the same day. I went to a different pep boys, they inspected the brakes and had to redo the poor job that they did. They are are also very immature at this location. I felt like I was doing business at a high school.

The service here is fantastic. I had a problem with a headlight on my Pontiac G6 which is a nightmare to replace. Jonath helped me with it and provided great service. I’m definitely going back. Super impressed.

Fabian is awesome! He helped me with a problem a former employee did. He fixed it. Very professional and great customer service. I will go back. They have my business.

I own a tree service in this area, Lakewood Trees and we have trucks to maintain. I know what it takes to keep a customer satisfied. It’s not always easy and I sure could not make anyone happy if I worked on their old messed up car. Old trees are much easier for me to work on than old cars.
In the past we let another Pepboys location on the (SW FRWY) work on our trucks and the mechanic failed twice on one simple oil change. So, we decided to try another location as we understand it was simply the failure of one mechanic to measure oil on a dipstick. It’s just weird going back to the same place that failed and have to look bad by asking for another mechanic to work on my vehicle.
Today we tried fhis Pepboys on Dairy Ashford and we were very pleased with Michael the mechanic who changed our oil properly and pointed out every leak and bad shock that he could find. I was impressed that he did what he was supposed to do for the customer and for the company that pays him. We also liked Justin and Fabian but Michael was professional as a mechanic and treated us very well.

Fabian is great! Communication is good and he is honest.
My issue is with Pepboys. The online prices for products are 40% cheaper than when purchasing at store locations. I am already paying $ 120/​hr for service. Why does Pepboys charge you a 40% increase on parts? Seems to be shady and dishonest.

One of the worst auto services i ever got.
Took my Audi after i got a check engine light… Paid $ 89 for the diagnostics and more than 1500 for fixing it. got the check engine light again in less than 300 miles with the same error code.
PEPBOYS want to charge again for the diagnostics and fix.

We took our Toyota Tundra 2005 truck in for big repair twice within the past 3 months. We should have visited the location in the med center but since this location is near home we decided to go with them. The first repair was good. However, the second one was a mess. Since I will have alot to say, I will break it down.
1. Their online appointment scheduler is pointless. For one of the followup visits, I made the appointment online for 9am. When I got there, they didn’t get the truck in immediately (9am firm). When I asked them why, they said that they were very busy and I had to wait for 30 minutes or so. They did say the truck will be ready by 10am. Guess what, it didn’t happen. I went to Kroger next door came back at 10am and the truck was still in the parking lot! This is so freaking dumb! If you wouldn’t care to honor appointments, why bothered to have the system? They got too busy and out of hand weren’t my problem. Right? Obviously, they thought that I had all day to wait there. I was as busy as them as I have my 1 year old to take care of. No compensation nothing for wasting my time. Smart move, you big fat idiots!
2. Part of the repair was involved with replacing the ABS sensor. ABS sensor was ordered during the initial visit. Here is the interesting part: We hadn’t been told that it was going to be a generic part. The part didn’t work and was told a Toyota part needed to be ordered. The part was supposedly ordered in 2 weeks. They promised that they would call when the part arrived, but nope, they didn’t! We had to call to followup. What kind of customer service was that? Liars. We called but they said it wasn’t there. Okay. Alright we waited another week and they called us that the part was finally there. Morons told us in person that it will only take 5 minutes to pop the ABS sensor in and we are ready to go! We made the appointment on the phone and as usual, we got there on time. Guess what, they made us wait again! This time we waited for an hour and haha … you wouldn’t believe what happened. They said it didn’t work again and we must leave our truck there for another day in order to them to figure why.
3. Incompetent losers. So since they couldn’t figure why, and it was our job to take the truck back and forth 3 times to make it right??? Note that we had to take another car to go home with. They had no loaner car or shuttle to provide. It was a big waste of time and gas. They should have double checked/​diagnosed everything in the first place as the first time they had the truck for 1 day as well. For the third attempt, they finally figured out why: it was the lose/​old wires connected to the ABS sensor that failed. Again, we deserved to be compensated, but nothing! Absolutely nothing to make it right!
If you need car repair of any sort, please think twice before visiting this location. Personally, we wouldn’t recommend them and will we return? We don’t think so. We will find another place for sure.

I was pleasantly surprised by Pep Boys after visiting this location. The staff is dedicated to providing great service. They are honest and take the time to show you what needs to be repaired and why. I worked on my own car for a long time and I can say I trust Fabian to take care of my car the same as I would. I had a very positive experience. Thank you Jonath, Jose and Fabian!!!

I love this location, the service is outstanding! My mechanic Fabian is the best, and the rest of the staff is great too!

Good place they are honest but pricey! However they do accept competitor coupons and always send out their own in the mail.
If you join their rewards they will send you email coupons and reward certificates for next visit!
Most importantly they let you bring in your own parts too. Money saver definitely a plus for me and my wallet.
