Definitely better than the Phở Binh in westhemier. More authentic and better soup. If you want more variety of food and a bit more westernized dishes, go for the one in westheimer. I ordered number 1 phở with everything in. The soup tasted very neat, and I loved the noodles. It wasn’t too sticky or too soft but was very chewy. The beed broth was good too, with no unpleasant aftertaste. Overall I liked the phở, but I’m not sure if this would be the best phở place in houston as some of my friends said. I’ve been to few other phở places in midtown area that serve very good phở with more variety of side dishes. But I would say this place would be the phở place to go to when in bellaire along with Phở Dien. I wished the lady(seemed like a female owner) who took my orders was a bit nicer. Could’ve been just the way she talks, but sounded a bit rude and abrupt. But other than that all other services were good, fast, and the male owner was very kind.

One of my favorite places in Houston for phở. I recommend the beef brisket phở(phở gau), hummingbird cake, and jasmine milk tea. Not crazy about the spring rolls, because they’re cold and a little hard. I like the setting and service. If your meal is under $ 10 then be sure to bring cash.

This is my old stomping ground. When I doubt this place will warm your tummy. Not much has change here food is still good as ever and service, well it is a Vietnamese place. You will get your food before your drinks. Haha. The place is a little small and cozy but clean compares to other Phở place for sure.

First impressions are everything, and I’m happy with how mine went. Despite the fact that the sign says 8 am to 4 pm, I stopped at 7:15AM because I saw an open sign and got served. Not sure if this is standard or no. The guy behind the counter was nice. As a non Vietnamese speaker, I found service to be far better then many others places I’ve been to. And if you don”t happen to know what you were doing they are willing to explain nam vs chin vs ga. Phở broth itself was very good too. I’m a happy camper.

Best.Phở.I’ve.Ever.Had. I think that sums it up. Everybody has their own preference when it comes to phở, but in my 32 years of eatting phở all over the world(literally every city I go to the first thing I do is look up their vietnamese restaurants) Phở Binh has it all. They only serve phở so you know there is no shame in their game. They do one thing and they do it right. 100%. Don’t believe me? Often times they sell out a few hours before they close. The noodles are perfectly textured and with the right consistency. They are generous with their portions, particularly the meat. The condiments including the basil, beansprouts, lime and mint are always fresh. Moreover, they have the special 9−1−1 bowl that just kills it if you’re particularly hungover… I mean hungry.

Bat-Bing-bat-a-BOOM! This place was recommended to me by a local who said this Phó was a must — no doubt! A perfectly flavored broth, quick efficient service and yummy fresh lemonade l.

I got the dry chicken noodle which is as good as usual, except for the soup, which is so salty and too much fat. Service is ok, our waitress is nice and helpful.

IMO, this is the best phở chain in Houston. I usually go to this one if it’s before 2 pm or Phở Binh by Night if it’s later in the day. The broth is the best although the there is more variability at this location. If you’re hungry, this location offers the big, but not overly wasteful sized 911 bowl. A few notes: Don’t come here looking for rice plates. It’s phở only. I would suggest calling ahead if it’s after 1:30 — 2:00 pm. They will close for the day if they run out of broth. We got there at about 12:45 one time and they locked the doors right after us. Credit card transactions have a $ 10 minimum charge. They close every year sometime after the Fourth of July for one month.

Service is typical. Food was fast. I had severe alleric reaction to the MSG… I asked if their is any MSG… and the waitress blatantly said no. Guess this is the last time i go there.

This place gets pretty crowded. I was told they close their doors once their broth is sold out for the day. Doesn’t look like they have a set menu because all they serve is phở. You can choose to go with the typical phở or their famous chicken phở kho. It’s pretty much phở(with dark or white meat chicken) instead of beef and the broth is served on the side. With the chicken phở kho, their noodles seem to be «marinated» in some kind of fat. It had the greasy, yet flavorful taste to it. I am guessing it’s chicken skin fat. The broth was pretty salty, but once you eat it with the noodles it doesn’t taste AS salty. Overall, not as good as it is all hyped up to be(maybe because I don’t care for chicken), but it was still good. At least try the dish once. You might be a fan.

Not only is Phở Binh the best phở restaurant in Houston, but it also has a big amount of noodles, vegetables and beef. They’re noodles are one of a kind, it’s smooth and no other place can make the noodles like them. Although it is pretty crowded, it is always worth the wait. I love the taste of the broth and everything else. Whenever I go there, I get the Phở Dac Biet and everything in it is just amazing.

Best phở ga kho on Bellaire. Place is a bit crowded but I think they are remodeling. I go here often because I love the taste. Even the broth is tasty. They do seem to never replace their cups or chop sticks. Look like they been using these forever lol

This is probably one of the best(if not THE best place) to get phở around town. They only serve one thing, but they serve it well! I mean, why else would you go to a phở place if you didn’t want phở? I always go here for phở when I have a hankering for it. I love going for Friday lunch because they’re quick, it’s fast, and delicious. The broth is very well balanced, they give decent proportions and service is very quick. They have 4 different sizes, and I would say that the most normal sized, or expected size bowl of phở is the Medium sized bowl. The small will satisfy you, but you might still be hungry later. If you have a huge appetite, by all means, order the large or the extra large! Pricing is very reasonable, so if you’re on a budget and want good and authentic food, why not stop in for some phở! The meal per person costs around $ 6 to $ 10, depending on what you get.(It’s a great way to treat your friends and seem very generous without breaking the bank. «Sure! get seconds! It’s on me this time!») What should I order? Well, for starters, you really only have the choice between phở and phở, so I would go with the phở. They do have a special«dry chicken phở» where the broth comes separately and you can eat the yumminess that is phở in drier proportions. The staple, of course is the Phở Tai, which is the noodles with the sliced raw beef.(Want to look and sound fancy? Ask for the beef on the side, and people will think you’re an expert!) A couple of things to be aware of though: 1. Limited spacing– you might have to get cozy with some people if you want a place to sit down and eat. Lunch hour, especially, gets pretty crowded, and quickly I might add. 2. Minimum for credit cards is $ 10 I believe 3. There’s more parking in the back, so don’t fret! 4. They do close early, so watch the time! They will also close if they sell out, so go early if you don’t want to be turned away!

This place is consistent and great every time. Although I have not tried Phở Dien to compare, this is still my favorite phở place. The soup is always piping hot and doesn’t look greasy. I can eat a large bowl every time. Note: they only serve phở here, no other dishes. They do have phở ga(kho/nuoc).

Phở Binh is my new go-to spot for phở in Houston! Their menu only has phở so you don’t have to deal with the struggle of wanting to order everything because it all looks so good(I always battle between vermicelli, phở, or a rice dish in Viet restaurants), nor do you have the possibility of food envy because everyone is pretty much eating almost the same thing. Phở comes in 2 sizes, regular or large, and are both very reasonably priced. The food comes out wicked fast, even for to-go orders(I ordered 3 to-go entrees and it was ready in less than 10 min). The broth is phenomenal — light and flavorful without being too oily or salty — it tasted like how a good broth should taste. The noodles are plentiful and well-made(no clumping!) but so is the meat that comes with each bowl; in fact I had a problem where at the end of my bowl I had too much meat and had to noodle snatch from my husband’s larger bowl… that never happens! I’ve also tried their dry chicken phở(phở ga kho) and really enjoyed it. It’s actually my preferred to-go order because keeping the broth and noodles separate is already part of the meal! The chicken is a nice alternative to the beef, tripe, or meatballs I usually get with my phở and I love the little fried things that come with this dish, too. There is a $ 10 min for credit cards, though!

This is one of the better phở places in Chinatown/Bellaire area. Service is good here and the place is clean. They only serve phở here, no spring rolls/fried eggrolls/etc. But the phở here is really good. The broth, the meats, etc. If you want good phở you should try Phở Binh. Man I am hungry for phở now.

The Binh family owns alot of these. They all have their own hours, menu and personalities. But the phở is the same, Grade A bad A$$. First let me say I have never tried all of their locations, nor have I tried their original trailer location. But once I was shown the way of the bone marrow in to the soup, I was addicted. The big difference here is that this location do not always have the bone marrow. Which doesn’t make it bad, just not as buttery smooth as Phở Binh By Night. But the broth is still really really great. And the bonus is that they open at 7am, phở for break fast anyone? I love both at this location and the By Night one down the road. Between the different schedules of the 2 locations, all my waking hour urges are covered.

First of all, when I walk into an ethnic restaurant and I’m the only caucasian person, I smile and give myself a secret high five because I know I picked the right place. This place is a phở factory! They crank it out so fast you don’t even have time to complain about the lack of anything but phở on the menu. And as for the phở itself, well, it was perfect! The medium was on point as far as portions go, perfect for lunch time(but for dinner I may venture into a large portion).

I love this place! I order phở chin nam. Make sure you know what you want to order this place is very fast pace! Everything was very fresh! Noodles were fresh, chewy, and hot! Meat was adequate, not too much or too little. $ 10 minimum charge and they accept visa and mastercard. you’re always safe carrying cash to pay in bellaire ! Enjoy!
