I’m really not the kind of person to sit here and write reviews on stores BUT I have to with this restaurant. The food is always fresh and I come here a lot ! So with that being said I try different dishes and they never disappoint. The 2 male servers are really cool people too. I def recommend this place !

This was my first experience with eating Phở and thanks to this restaurant it won’t be my last. It was AWESOME! The service is prompt and courteous, very nice atmosphere, you almost forget you’re in a shopping plaza. Definitely give this one a try, had the Phở Ga and fried egg rolls.

Came here with a couple of my girlfriends starving and in need of food. Entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted and seated at a table. Honestly, that’s the fastest thing that happened during the entirety of our service. Our server took forever to get our food order, our drinks out, and ages to get our food to the table. There was not a lot of customers to begin with, so I don’t understand how it took so long to get food out to three HANGRY(Hungry + Angry) girls. When our orders finally came, I had ordered the combination lo mein and my friends had each ordered a rice dish. Although, I didn’t get to taste their foods, my lo mein was pretty good in flavor, maybe a little greasy, but all in all it was a decent meal. It wasn’t to die for. It wasn’t horrible either. Essentially, it was average like my rating. I also ordered a thai tea, and while it looked good, it seemed really milky and not quite sweet enough. In the end, I don’t think I’d find myself back here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We used to be frequent costumers, until the 2 «managers» of the restaurant yelled at us for asking for hot sauce. They both made a scene in front of a crowded restaurant. Terrible service. We will not be returning. Also your restaurant smells like wet dogs. I hope that’s not what you’re cooking.

Timep and time again the Phở is always on point here! I also get a side Beef Rolls which is similar to Spring Rolls, a must try. Aside from that the staff is very helpful and I don’t come here that often, but the servers always to seem to remember exactly what I order. Pro Tip: if you order a «meatless» Phở, it is around 4.50 a bowl(only Large) it still has the beef broth, but you save 3 $. Be careful in that area at night, there has been some criminal activity, so eat safe!

Their #52 is very good. Its very light on the stomache, but flavorful on the pallette…

I was in the mood to try a new Vietnamese place and I wasn’t too impressed with this place. The food wasn’t bad but it also didn’t have anything special about it. When I first walked into the place it kind of had a weird smell. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

My new favorite when I’m in Houston. Super friendly staff and fantastic food. Fresh spring rolls, the vermicelli bowl is awesome. Finish it off with an iced coffee, you won’t be disappointed.

They were out of bahn mi at 8pm… bummer, I was really looking forward to some pâté, pork and French bread. Phở: tad bit greasy, fully flavored, meatballs were perfect(not chewy, didn’t sit on bottom or top of broth, perfectly sliced). Loved they didn’t overload the broth with onions and herbs. Beefy and soul warming. My only complaint– rice noodles were slightly overlooked. Iced lemonade was okay, had better. I was wanting more pulp, but that’s a personal preference. Egg rolls were delightful. Not greasy whatsoever. Filled with pork and veggies. Fresh lettuce, thick shredded cabbage and some of the best fish sauce to accompany the crispy logs. #95– just okay. Not enough veggies but the portion was large enough for leftovers. Staff was friendly. Like most Viet restaurants I leave parched from all the salt because no one refills my water. Whatever. I had my lemonade to slurp it all down. Restaurant overall appeared clean, no funny smells, cute décor & inviting décor. Overall, I would come back when on the Northside.

I love this place. Rich is my regular waiter. I hadn’t been in for about a month and he knew exactly what I order down to the fact that I like the large Styrofoam cup for my water because I drink a lot of water when I come in. This is a must stop at for breakfast lunch or dinner. The Phở is outstanding and the staff is excellent. They are attentive to your needs and the food is fresh. Gotta try the coffee but order it in advance so it’s ready when you are done.

Started the meal with spring rolls. They were very fresh tasting. Next I had the vermicelli with grilled pork & topped with sliced egg rolls. It was so very tasty! The fish sauce was perfect, meat was seasoned wonderfully & all the vegetables were very fresh. The 2 young men doing all the order taking, table clearing & waiting tables were very friendly. I would highly recommend this establishment!

My friend and I went here for lunch for the first time today. I ordered the Spring Rolls and the Vermicelli with Grilled Shrimp. Both were excellent and very fresh. Six grilled shrimp came with the dish which was ample. There were two male waiters, and the restaurant was pretty full and filling up quickly. These two guys ran their butts off and took care of everyone in a timely manner. I thought my meal was reasonably priced – a little over $ 12(that includes iced tea and tax). Would definitely return if I’m in the area.

Would not recommend food and was charged a 17% gratuity to top it off, I know there was 6 people involved but last time I recall a 15% would be charged. We kept waiting to get a refill and nothing so when we asked for a tea to go, yeah! that was charged as well. So sad! I don’t like to give bad reviews.

The customer service here is pretty good, but I do prefer the other one right up the street from here but they were closed today. :/To me their broth has a hint of a sweeter taste. But the food here is good too. I do like how they have pictures for the crap that’s in Vietnamese. Anywho, I came in today for some Phở to go and something else. Immediately I was told they don’t do small sizes to go, which is kinda stupid. I asked why, and with his broken English he just said that’s just the rule. So that just made me pissed me off because you have a rule but you don’t even know why it exists?! I even told him can’t you just put the small size in a large container? He said no. I said«Oh, but if I eat here I can get a small?» He said«Yes.» So I replied, «So should I just take the bowl with me then?» Dumbass.

See previous review… I am uping the rating to 5*. This food is delicious and consistent in taste. After my review below, we made it in today and this is the first time I have ever had a Manager actually come say thank you previous Unilocal review! Nice. Really nice!

Maybe it’s because I’m visiting Houston, and quality of phở restaurants are different than from where I’m from, but this was bad. First, the service was very disappointing. We asked for tea and water when we ordered our food but we did not get any beverages for at least 10 mins or more, after we asked for it the second time. The noodles came out so slow-just about the slowest phở restaurant I ever been. The flavor was bland, and I needed to add salt to even taste anything. The only positive is the fried egg rolls are crispy and tasted very good.

I really like this place, I don’t have much of their soup but I have many of their vegetarian plates. They always have fresh vegetables and fried tofu is great. I love # 77 crispy flat rice noodle. # 53 vermicelli bowl with tofu and mixed vegetables. You can ask for a fried egg noodle with tofu and vegetable. Those are my favorite dishes. You can also pay extra money for larger portions or added items. Just ask the waiter he pretty friendly The tables have pictures of many of the dishes.

This location is off of Ella in 1960. I really like this location in the staff is wonderful. They never make you feel uncomfortable in the always greet you with a smile. Normally whenever I go into places that are owned by foreigners The service is not so great. Most likely due to cultural differences. They except all major credit cards. One of my favorite dishes is the seafood phở and the shrimp spring roll and the peanut butter sauce. I will return again for sure. Right now I’m so stuffed I can barely move LOL

Kinda disappointed. We came here for phở and I’ve definitely had better. Broth ok. I ordered the phở with beef flanks with tendon. I literally only got 2 big pieces of tendon and 2 small tiny pieces floating at the bottom of my bowl. Usually I’m full after a bowl of phở, but I was still hungry after I ate a LARGE bowl. There’s a lot of restaurants that serve phở. Go elsewhere if you want a hearty bowl of phở. Now service, no one came to refill our empty cups or check up on us. Food came out fast, but we also ordered 6 subs to go. We ordered it with our meal hoping it would be ready by the time we finished. But nope. I don’t know what’s taking so long to make a few sandwiches. The place is clean, and if my husband brings me here again I’ll probably order something else other than phở. Who knows their other food might be good, I mean they do have 4 stars for some reason.
