Pizza Fino

This establishment will never see any of my money and I encourage anyone reading this to follow suit. For well over a year now, we have tried to get this place to stop leaving their menus on our door. We have called them and asked to speak to the manager, who essentially refuses to do anything about it. We have spoken to the owner who also refuses to to anything about it. We have a sign on our door that says no flyers which is ignored by whoever leaves they menu. Our subdivision has clearly posted signs forbidding solicitations, which clearly means nothing to these

I honestly believe mgmt. has changed. Food is not cooked like it use to be. The garlic wings are oil based, no dry rub.

I’ve been ordering (over 10X) from this place (Wilcrest) every since I have lived over here (6 months) and haven’t had one issue. The complaints I have read seem to have occurred a while ago so hopefully that type of atmosphere has changed. I’ve never made a visit to this place but the delivery is fast and the guys are super nice. Now, there are a few things I can leave behind like the fried mushrooms but hey no biggie. But they do seem fried hard and soggy on the inside. Nevertheless, their pizzas and gyros are so delicious! Not that greasy stuff from the other chains. I love this place and although not perfect it’s still amazing.

Always order from here because it’s close. We consistently get our pizza in under half an hour and the food is consistently yummy.

We eat here all the time. Usually it’s fine (not great but obviously no one expects filet Mignon food for McDonald’s price range). But it’s always been edible. Until today. The wings were bland and the usually yummy muffaletta was just awful. Someone evidently threw a ball of mozzarella cheese on the sandwich and then decided that «toasting» means to burn to black on both sides. The food tonight gave me tummy pains and bad night of sleep. Yuck. I’m seriously going to think twice from now on when someone suggests this place.

Mine:I am sharing this to all of my FB friends as they need to know what type of customer service they are dealing with when going to Pizza Fino on Wilcrest. I know many Energy Corridor and families would be appalled by this employees behavior. When I’m sick pizza makes me feel better… well it always makes me feel good. I order from this place all the time. For a period they always got my order wrong… then they fixed it. Always had nice people etc… until now. Please read attachment below. I am trying to find the owner because I am sure he would not like to know an employee tells a customer to stop coming there because Pizza Fino gets their order wrong. Amazed at customer service these days!
Pizza Fino FB: I will NEVER order pizza from you again. This from a weekly customer. The manager told me I placed my order wrong. If you look at my history (weekly) I have never gotten a pizza roll with sausage and hamburger. It is always sausage and pepperoni/​beef and pepperoni. My pizza is always the same, olive oil, no marinara extra cheese, pepperoni and basil. The pizza came with no basil. When I called the manager told me to never call there again. That I cost them money… for their errors… how does this make sense?!? This is the second time dealing with this employee and it has been the most frustrating and horrible experience. He told me he would bring me basil. I said I wanted my pizza made as I ordered it. He repeatedly said he would NOT remake my pizza. Then he said either I come there to get the pizza or they bring me basil… how does this make sense!!!

Worst experience ever! I love their pizza, but the other menu options lack flavor or are extremely watered down. My friend ordered the chicken alfredo, which was more like a few pieces of chicken and watery, bland sauce. I ordered a chicken pesto peta which was bland and tasted awful. Upon telling the workers my concern I was told that there wasn’t anything they could do to assist me. He then called the owner who also said he was unwilling to assist me with my concerns. Customer service is non existing here. One of the guys was very rude and short with me. His attitude was horrible. This place needs better management and a better cook. I will not spend another dollar here!
Not to mention after leaving out and leaving the food I paid for behind, the rude man behind the counter pointed to the foods and started explaining the situation to another customer. I watched through the glass as he pointed and carried on. That’s extremely unprofessional!

We have ordered from the Wilcrest location for about 8 years now and they have never been rude. I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about and maybe confused about the location.
Their pizza is the best I’ve ever had anywhere so I am confused about the other reviews as well. We ordered the Alfredo, chicken, spinach and cheese the other night and it was sooo good I ended up eating too many slices.
We usually order the deluxe or super deluxe which are fabulous as well. They have great pizza and are always quick and delicious. Our guests/​contractors that we have had over when ordering their pizza also rave about how good the pizza is. Don’t believe the other reviewers. This place runs circles around those other gross pizza places in the area.

Don’t you dare call to asked to speak with the owner/​or someone that thinks that he is, after You order… I asked for angel hair pasta with extra meat sauce… I received fettuccine pasta with marinara sauce. Condescending jerk «manager» received my «new «order with complete and utter attitude… I had to calm myself down as I am not beneath him, this is the last dollar that they will received from me.

First time ordering tonight. Delivery was within 45 minutes. The pasta was very good as were the wings (garlic Parmesan). Fries were pretty bad they were soggy. Other than the fries the food was good. Suggest cooking the fries more and some way to package for delivery that they don’t arrive soggy.

The food is okay. But the employees are truly rude and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she was even worse!

Today the delivery was quick and the food was good. Good salads, just steer away from the pasta at this chain, as it is soggy :(Yay for the salads today. And they use grubhub which is a plus.

Hot, fast, great food, and willing to go out of their way to make the customer happy.

Not for me. No concern for the customer and food quality was not good.

pizza fino!!! yuck yuck! i feel robbed, my food was cold and soggy. how do you mess up fried mushrooms? they were a ruiny mushy disgusting mess. my italian sub was decent, the wings were half sauced, they brought the wrong soda. my husband however did enjoy his mufflaletta (sp) too bad because were never ordee again. $ 31 waisted

order: Pizza, Fried Cheese Sticks, Greek Gyro
Gyro:
The worst gyro I have ever had. I’ll teach you how to make these at home the Pizza Fino way: First start with low quality meat, then burn the pita bread, next make your cucumber sauce and add an additional 3 cups of water so it’s really runny and thin and has absolutely no flavor or taste. Finally top it off with some soggy lettuce tomatoes and onions.
Fried Cheese Sticks:
These were super awesome, oh wait no they weren’t. These tasted exactly like the low quality/​cheap frozen mozzarella sticks you get in the freezer section of your local grocer. In fact just go buy those they are cheaper, you will get a lot more and they will taste just like the Fried Cheese sticks Pizza Fino’s sales if not better
Pizza: No flavor and a ton of grease

I ordered a gyro and fried mushrooms for delivery. Delivery time was about 30 min, mushrooms were okay, but gyro was very yummy! Pita bread tasted great and the food was hot. Prices were very low, and the food was pretty good. Great choice for quick lunch or easy dinner. If you want fancy, pay more and go elsewhere, otherwise, this is a delicious place for the price.

Took over 1 hour and 23 minutes to deliver at 5:30 Sunday night. Called restaurant, male who answered was rude and short with me. When food finally got here it was not worth the wait. Order a Gyro «On Pita Bread» that was really made out of pizza dough. My son ordered plain simple Spaghetti and Meatballs. It was made with pizza sauce, what few meatballs there were were hard and dry, and they covered the spaghetti with so much cheese you could not even see the pasta. Buyer beware.
