After reading Farrah’s Project review, I headed over to check the place out. It’s nice and has some fun clothes. I tried on a pair of jeans on the table that the girl mentioned were on sale. Anyway, come to find out that they were actually misplaced on the sale table — but the kicker is that the sales lady offered to give them to me for the sale price anyway. I thought that was way cool and Project will definitely be a place I stop by frequently…

I tend to forget about Project when shopping around the hood, probably because it’s not along my usual stroll down the shops of Westheimer. But it is there, and I need to remember to visit there a bit more. They do have men’s clothing too, but as far as women’s, it’s definitely more my style. Colorful, airy dresses perfect for spring/summer, light cotton tees, and accessories galore: shoes, bracelets, belts… And the metro fellas will spend quite some time in here too. Just don’t know if it’s a look I personally dig. Fashion and label whores will like Project(think William Rast, Kitson LA, Antik … er, Affliction), but they do have some up and coming no-name designers. I forgot to ask if any lines from of our local aspiring artists are sold there. The shop is a «Project» of owner Albert Rowan aka DJ Bizz and his wife Lydia; both are fashion forward people, from their head to their sneaks. I recommend getting on their mailing or text list because you’ll get almost weekly updates on insane sales – like 60 and 70 percent off! You’ll walk out lookin’ and feelin’ good; you might as well make a night of it and hit up one of the clubs where Bizz is spinning.
