I recently purchased a 1981K5 Blazer 4×4 and was referred to R&R Cartech from a person that I am on a online form with for K5 Blazers. I went to see Javier at R&R Cartech to ask about getting some work done on the Blazer(upper/lower ball joints on both sides, oil pan replaced) and he gave me a fair price — it was a little below the price from 2 other shops. At this same time I was in the process of selling a 2003 Lincoln Aviator and took it to him for a oil change and oil change filter gasket replacement, Javier did the job the same day at below the price of 2 other shops. While I was there I had him replace the rear stabilizer links, done within a couple hours. Work was done quick, no hassle, price was quoted before work started, very honest. Now back to the Blazer, I dropped the blazer off on a Thursday morning and told Javier that I wanted to just get the oil pan changed out and if he saw anything on the front end that would make my car pull to the right, he said he would check it out and email me anything he finds. Well the next morning I get an email from Javier stating the Blazer was ready for pick up and that the only thing he could find on the front end that needed replacing were the stabilizer links(I just assumed he did not mention the ball joints because I had told him they were bad already — I was told by the previous owner they needed to be replaced). I took an über to go pick up the blazer and pay Javier and while I was there he stated that the ball joints were fine, no need to replace them — I was surprised that he said that, he could have just let me drop it off a week later and made more money but he was honest and that is why I am writing this review. On top of that I brought another oil tube and dipstick to install(the previous owner had the wrong one on the engine) and we went to the parking lot and just put it on in like 5 mins — Javier did not charge me for that either. I will definitely refer R&R Cartech to any friends/family that need work done. I have been using the same mechanic in the Heights are for 15+ years(when I can get to him), finding R&R Cartech is much closer and gives me another option for auto work to be done at a affordable price, honest person and in a timely manner. Do not hesitate to call Javier and take your car by. The street the shop is located on is having some construction done on it but when you pull into the shop it is clean and un cluttered.

Good, knowledgeable mechanics, and they’re honest. You can trust them not to take advantage of you by suggesting more parts and service than is needed. That’s hard to find.

First came here cause my dad used them a few times and told me to come here for a tune up. Javier gets the job done with no games and he’s HONEST. I’ve been here a few times since then and every time has been a easy and quick. I recently brought my car in for a few issues(30 min before closing) and my car was ready the next morning. Now everyone in my family uses Javier and none of us have any complaints! I highly recommend this place.
