I was delighted to find Raul when we moved to Houston. His cuts are wonderful and his makeup application is flawless; I feel so polished afterward! And working with him is a breeze — he really listens to what you want. I *highly* recommend booking him. A great mixture of professionalism and personality.

Raul is amazing!!! I met him at a wedding at one of Houston’s finest hotels. I told him I was having a birthday party in a couple of days and I needed someone to do my hair and makeup. Not only was he early to our appointment he stayed late to make sure everything was perfect!!! I highly recommend Raul! He’s very nice and his work is remarkable!

All I can say is… WOW! SO him and his help came over right on time.4pm & worked their magic. Raul did make-​up and his help did hair. They were amazing! Got done in about an hr and 15 minutes. Raul is amazing and the best part, he makes house calls!
Farrah, your review was right on target (you have to invite me to your make-​up party when you have it). I was desperately trying to find someone to do my hair & make-​up for a company Christmas party. and I came across your review. I knew I couldn’t go wrong :)

I’m not too trusting when letting someone else do my makeup, but when I first spotted Raul at a nightclub, I couldn’t help but go up to him and ask him for his number.
Shortly after, I hired him to do my niece’s face and body makeup for her quinceañera portraits. Her theme was funky, rocker/​punk, so he glammed her up with smokey eyes, pouty pink lips and flawless skin. Simply stunning! Then came an outdoor wedding for me a few weeks ago and I needed makeup that would withstand humidity, sweat and, yes, tears. Aww. So naturally, I called Raul again.
He arrived to my place with giant beauty kits in tow, his tool belt with tons of brushes, and setup shop right in my living room (We needed natural light.). After glancing over his portfolio, and having showed him my dress, he worked his diva magic and voila! Diva. He charged me $ 40, and that included the falsies (clueless men, read: fake eye lashes).
He also does bridal makeup and that’s including Indian/​Pakistani weddings (he loves those because we’re not afraid to use color!) and threading. And if you’re interested in hosting a makeup party for you and your clan of girlfriends, at around $ 30 a person, he’ll come over, do your makeup, look at what you’ve got stored in your makeup bag, go over what works and give you extra tips. This is something I plan on hosting, because I know I have some sad brushes and could learn some new techniques.
